  • 2167 - Kemi rules out Reform UK Tory pact

Kemi Badenoch, the leader of the Conservative Party, was pressed about whether she would consider collaborating with Reform UK if it came down to it. Her answer was an emphatic no chance. Some say she is painting herself into a corner, whilst others think the water is too muddy between the two parties for reconciliation and coalition. Talk presenter Jeremy Kyle speaks to: Shadow chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster Alex Burghart, deputy leader of Reform UK Richard Tice, Talk's international editor Isabel Oakeshott, former Conservative special adviser Charlie Rowley, commentator at the Mail on Sunday Dan Hodges, former chancellor of the exchequer Nadhim Zahawi, and the Israeli government spokesperson for the prime minister's office David Mencer.

  • 2166 - The Iron Dome Lady

Jeremy Kyle reacts as a police and crime commissioner has come under fire for saying that police are being diverted from 999 calls to deal with anti-migrant protests while seemingly ignoring the amount of resources poured into welcoming these migrants when they reach Gosport. Yesterday we showed you the police escort and the amount of ambulances on standby. Donna Jones, police and crime commissioner for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, revealed that around 200 officers from seven forces had been pulled off crime-fighting duties to manage protests in Gosport.

Tensions are rising over national security after American officials revealed that the US pulled its nuclear-capable B1 bombers from RAF Fairford amid threats of an Iranian drone attack. It follows claims in a Sun exclusive that a group spotted near the Gloucestershire base may have acted as a decoy to distract security forces ahead of a larger, Iran-backed plot.

Meanwhile, Andy Burnham is considering delaying a critical decision on UK defence spending, raising questions over Britain’s commitments to NATO as the Cabinet reviews national security budgets. Great timing Andy!

Turning to Migrant Madness - An Afghan asylum seeker who fatally stabbed an innocent dog walker, tried to murder his landlord, and attacked a 14-year-old boy has been handed a….wait for it…a hospital order.

In a separate case, a small boat migrant who tried to break into the Israeli Embassy with knives just two weeks after arriving has been jailed for life.

And an Iraqi national facing deportation has been granted permission to stay in the UK under European human rights law, after successfully arguing that the immigration process was "too stressful."

Billionaires with a combined net worth of £120 billion have begun leaving the UK, driven out by Labour's tax increases on high earners and private wealth.

To the Conservative Party Conference now, where Kemi Badenoch is being dubbed the Iron Lady after unveiling a ten-billion-pound British "Iron Dome" air defence system to shoot down enemy missiles.

The conference also saw a surprise appearance from Jeremy Clarkson, who took aim at the Government, asking: "Why would anyone start a business in the UK now?"

On welfare, Shadow Work and Pensions Secretary Helen Whately declared that minor mental health issues are "no excuse not to get a job."

Shadow Chancellor Andrew Griffith pledged that a future Tory government would cut at least one tax at every Budget, with Kemi Badenoch signalling future cuts to inheritance tax.

Elsewhere, Laura Trott promised to ban political activism in school classrooms, while Badenoch warned activists that the party must remain on high alert for a potential snap general election.

  • 2165 - Migrant dinghy enters Gosport

The dinghies just keep coming. Gosport locals in Hampshire have staged a protest seeking to resist a dinghy carrying migrants. To get ahead of any potential disruption from residents, a dispersal order—which some are calling draconian—has been issued. Protests were largely peaceful, but some run-ins with police and flares being set off were reported. Talk's Jeremy Kyle speaks to: Deputy leader of Reform UK Richard Tice, Talk's royal correspondent Rupert Bell, shadow chancellor Andrew Griffith, former Conservative special advisor Charlie Rowley, former Conservative government minister Steve Baker, former Labour special advisor Paul Richards, chief political writer at Spiked Online Brendan O'Neill, and leader of Hampshire Reform UK Group Councillor George Madgwick.

  • 2164 - Labour's Brexit Betrayal

Ian Collins reacts as Tory Leader Kemi Badenoch has gone on the attack, accusing Prime Minister Andy Burnham of quietly gearing up for a surprise snap general election as early as next May. Badenoch claimed the Prime Minister’s economic rhetoric and policy tone clearly signal an early run for a fresh mandate.

At the same time, Badenoch has firmly shut the door on any right-wing alliance, explicitly ruling out any electoral pact or deal with Reform UK.

However, over at Reform, Nigel Farage is seizing on Burnham’s recent stance on Brexit. Critics argue Burnham’s latest missteps over Europe have given Farage "the biggest boost of his political career," potentially paving Reform's path right toward Number 10.

UK population hits new peak of 69.5million but growth slows as net migration and birth rates drop

Meanwhile, the row over early prisoner releases is boiling over. Ministers are facing fierce backlash over the release of thousands of inmates in a bid to ease prison overcrowding. Shocking reports detail early-release convicts thanking the Prime Minister directly as they step out of jail—with several openly admitting to reporters they fully intend to reoffend.

The UK is reportedly locked in emergency talks with European partners over critical diesel reserves following an ultimatum from US President Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has demanded that the UK immediately tap into and deploy emergency oil and diesel reserves to stabilise global fuel markets. With the UK’s fuel supply chain under pressure, government officials are working overtime to prevent shortages at the pump.

  • 2163 - Burnham's Early Prisoner Release

Ian Collins unpacks the latest as around 700 offenders serving sentences of up to 19 months are scheduled for release starting this morning, marking the initial phase of a government early-release scheme expected to free more than 4,500 prisoners by June. The policy has drawn fierce criticism from victim advocacy watchdogs and domestic abuse survivors, who live in fear for their safety. In one case, a survivor of abuse reported fleeing abroad ahead of her former partner's planned release.

The government has officially scrapped its "one in, one out" migrant arrangement, ending the framework previously used to manage specific return and exchange agreements for asylum seekers and migrants.

Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has announced that she will ban school leavers from moving directly onto unemployment benefits upon leaving education.

Separately, former cabinet minister Alan Milburn suggested that businesses and employers should begin teaching primary school pupils about work from an early age.

PM Andy Burnham has indicated that holding a second referendum on the UK's relationship with the European Union remains an option. His comments have sparked political debate, with critics warning that rejoining the EU or its single market could lead to a return to free movement of people.

Meanwhile - the plot thickens - Andy Burnham has suggested potential Iranian involvement regarding the recent foiled terror plot targeting RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire despite 5 suspects being released on bail.

Passengers intervened to regain control of a commercial airliner following an attempted hijacking in which a co-pilot reportedly stabbed the captain. According to reports, an Israeli plumber aboard the aircraft helped stabilize and control the plunging plane using knowledge gained from aviation television programs, preventing a major disaster.

And Veteran broadcaster and campaigner Dame Esther Rantzen has died at the age of 86. Following her passing, details emerged of an emotional farewell letter to her fans, sealed until her death, in which she wrote the final message: "See you on the other side."
