- 305 - The Mission - Week 4: John 4:27-42
What does it look like to truly take part in God’s mission?
In this final message from The Missionseries, we look at John 4 and the story of the Samaritan woman, someone whose encounter with Jesus changed her life and moved her to immediately tell others about Him.
Her story reminds us that the gospel is too good to keep to ourselves. Jesus satisfies the deepest longings of the human heart and every believer is called to point others to Him.
The harvest is ready. Our role is to go, share the good news, and trust in the power of the gospel to bring people to Christ.
Thu, 10 Sep 2026 - 21min - 304 - The Mission - Week 3: John 20:21-22
What keeps us from taking part in God’s mission?
In this message from The Mission series, we are reminded that every believer is called to be sent and we do not go alone.
Through John 20:21 - 22, we see how the Holy Spirit empowers, guides and equips us to share the gospel wherever God has placed us.
We do not have to rely on our own confidence, ability or personality. Because we have been restored through Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we can take that step of faith and be His witnesses in our families, workplaces, campuses, communities and beyond.
Thu, 10 Sep 2026 - 24min - 303 - The Mission - Week 2: John 12:27-36
What does it mean to truly live for the glory of God?
In this message from the Mission series, we discover that while God’s love is the motive for missions, His glory is the ultimate goal. Through John 12:27–36, we see how Jesus revealed the beauty and worth of God most clearly through the cross.
This message challenges us to ask whether God is truly of supreme importance in our lives and calls us to respond with joyful obedience, even when following Him is costly.
As followers of Jesus, we are invited to point others to the beauty of Christ and carry the gospel to our families, communities and the nations.
Thu, 10 Sep 2026 - 33min - 302 - The Mission - Week 1: John 3:16
Life is filled with annoyances, regrets, fears, pain and brokenness but beneath all of these is a deeper problem: sin.
In this message, we look at how sin has distorted God’s original design for humanity and disrupted the shalom—the wholeness, peace and flourishing, we were created to experience.
Through John 3:16, we are reminded that God did not leave humanity in its brokenness. Out of His great love, He sent Jesus on a mission to redeem and restore us. And that mission continues through the Church today.
Discover why the gospel is more than simply becoming a better person, why restoration begins with our relationship with God and how every believer is called to participate in making the Father’s love known in our communities, campuses and the nations.
At the heart of God’s mission is love and the good news that through Jesus Christ, brokenness does not have the final word.

- 237 - A Bible and a Passport: Week 2 - John 17
In 1984, most of our first few church leaders were university students. Many of them had never visited another country. Some had never been off the island of Luzon, where Metro Manila is located. Few had ever even seen a passport, much less possessed one. It was an unlikely group to launch a worldwide church-planting movement!
Yet, they started learning what it meant to follow Christ by laying their hands on an old National Geographic map and interceding for the nations one by one. Pastor Steve Murrell also empowered them that a Bible and a passport were all they needed to answer God’s call to make disciples of all nations.
From those humble beginnings, the gospel has been planted in 82 nations—yet still, we continue to reach for more. And since then, Psalm 2:8 has always been our prayer:
“Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.”

Wed, 25 Sep 2024 - 41min - 235 - 100%: Week 3 - 2 Corinthians 9:6-11
We often hear the phrase ‘blessed to be a blessing,’ which has become imprinted in our hearts as a church community. We believe that God will bless us, and we intend to use His blessing to honor and glorify Him.
This series aims to deepen and rekindle our understanding of the biblical principles of faithful stewardship. Beyond the common practice of tithing, we’ll find that true stewardship begins with God’s grace.
In light of knowing everything comes and belongs to Him, we honor Him by not only giving our ten percent but all our wealth (100%) under His lordship daily.

- 227 - New Gen: Week 4 - 2 Samuel 23:13-17
God’s heart always goes out to the new generation. And as a church, God calls us to raise them according to His word.
God never hesitated to put young people at the center of His purpose, regardless of cultural norms and preferences. Without hesitation, God has used young people throughout church history to participate in His mission.
May we see every new generation the way God sees them: as the greatest untapped mission force—bringers of Christ’s hope in our broken world.
Over the next four weeks, let us look more deeply into God’s calling for us to prepare, empower, and remind the new generation of their purpose and identity in God.

Wed, 03 Jul 2024 - 41min - 222 - From Mission Field to Mission Force: Week 4 - Psalm 67:1-2
We often hear the saying, “There is no growth in comfort,” and we took this to heart from the beginning. We were once recipients of a short-term mission outreach in Manila. If we stayed with a mission-field mentality, we would never become the mission force we are today.
As God empowers us to carry out His mission, let us step out of our comfort zone into the unknown by faith.
May we press on with the same passion, pursue His call to make disciples, and be His mission force for the next 40 years and beyond.

- 217 - Walk With Me: Week 3 - Luke 24:44-53
During Jesus’ time on earth, He walked with His disciples, involving them in His life and ministry.
This series will explore stories where Jesus exemplified how we are to journey together through the highs, lows, and everything in between as His church while glorifying God and carrying out His mission.
Let’s journey through this series together, and ask God for wisdom and softened hearts as we respond to His word.
Just like the African proverb that says, “If you want to go fast, go alone, if you want to go far, go together.”
Don’t walk alone.

Rest is a promise available for everyone. Many try to find rest by going places, isolating, and reflecting.
This Holy Week, may we find ourselves resting in Christ—where we are and will always be in a place of grace; a place where we will receive what God intends for our good, even if we don’t deserve it.

How many times have we wavered when faced with insurmountable odds?
While we can try to endure life’s challenges on our own terms and strength, many times, it makes us grow tired and weary, too.
Here’s the good news:
There is something that goes beyond mere resilience. It is faith—it is counterintuitive and overcoming.
It allows us to endure, despite all the reasons we can think of, and despite it all.
