1 - Did yesteryear Jamaican artists set a good foundation for the new generation (on a business level)?
Devin Di Dakta was a recent guest on RT LIVE. After about an hour of spirited back & forth, the conversation shifted to the new generation artist vs. the yesteryear artist. Devin said he respects many of the older artists, but many of them don’t inspire him because they didn’t set a good foundation for the new generation. Did they? What are your thoughts?
