    It is Tuesday on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show. President Biden and Sen. McCarthy has reached an agreement on the debt ceiling and will not be raised to the limit. The debt will be suspended until after 2025. The Boston Celtics tried to make history but came up short after forcing a game seven against the Miami Heat. The Celtics came back from an 0 -3 series to tie it up at 3 - 3 but lost to the Heat in game seven. Beyoncé showered her oldest daughter, Blue Ivy, with praise on social media for performing with her on stage at The Renaissance Tour stop in Paris. Blue Ivy also performed with her at the London show and was also praised by her grandmother, Tina Knowles. The Little Mermaid opened this weekend at $117 Million which is the fourth largest movie opening on Memorial Day Weekend. After the death of legendary R&B icon Tina Turner, Judge Joe Brown had some really nasty things to say about Ms. Turner. He said that Ike Turner was a good man and didn’t deserve to be treated the way he was from her and Hollywood. Instead of Jeff Johnson, Special K gave us Three Things We Need to Know. DeSantis and members of the GOP are trying to erase American history that paints “White America” in a bad light. Aisha Curry said that she is more mindful about putting her children on social media. She said that she would not have done it with her first child if she knew what was going to happen. She wants to keep her other children private. AND MUCH MORE!!!

    It is Friday before Memorial Day Weekend on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show. You know what that means, Drums Please. But anyway, Raz B, from B2K, broke a window at a Kansas City Hospital trying to escape because he did not feel safe at the hospital he was staying in. He was spotted on the roof of the hospital and a negotiator was brought in to bring him inside the hospital. Halle Bailey said it was important to keep her locks for her role as Ariel in “The Little Mermaid.” She wanted to make sure that little black girls would be able to see themselves in her role. On Mind Body and Business, Maria More spoke about the most common things that people ignore but they should not. If that urine is dark, please address this ASAP. Also actress Kim Fields does not want folks calling her Aunty. No matter if you mean it as a term of endearment or not, just don’t do it. Today is a little different. We are doing Battle of The Step Dads. You have Rock T’s and Rickey Smiley’s step-dads go head to head today.     It is Thursday on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show. To start the show off, we have to start with some bad news. Tina Turner passed away yesterday at the age of eighty-three. Her passing comes after a prolonged illness. The rock & roll legend was acknowledged by many celebrities and every day people on social media for being the incredible icon that she was. Beyoncé and Angela Bassett are among some of the celebrities that made touching posts in remembrance of Tina Turner. Prosecutors are looking for the max prison time for Tory Lanez because they believed he displayed a complete disregard for the safety of others and the neighborhood around him. Jeff Johnson is live in the studio today and giving us Three Things We Need to Know. Today is the three year anniversary of the murder of George Floyd. There were many companies and corporations that made commitments  to the black community and only four percent of those commitments have been made. It is time to hold these corporations accountable. Momma Dee had some things to say about Bambi after she said that nobody knew Scrappy until she married him. Momma Dee said Bambi has some dirt that she knows about.     It is Hump Day on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show Podcast. The former Micosoft  Steve Balmer and his wife Connie are providing $45 Million in grant money to Black up and coming and mid-level non-profit programs focused on the economic mobility of African Americans. Kanye West and the Gap are at odds still for their partnership. The Gap is suing Kanye for $2 Million due to damages Kanye caused to a storefront that The Gap leased for Kanye’s Gap collection. Wanda Sykes has come out saying that she was not in support of the comments that Dave Chappelle made about the Trans-community.  Matthew Knowles, father of Solange and Beyoncé, has stated that there is a possibility of a Destiny’s Child reunion. In a recent interview, Knowles said that anything is possible. He also spoke about how he raised them and exposed them to everything growing up.  A story came out of Maryland, where a family and friends of thirteen people were arrested. The ages ranged from 13 to 21. They were all in stolen Hyundais. Florida State Senator Shervin Jones has joined The RSMS Crew to talk about the wrong that Gov. The Diversity Chief of Uber, Bo Young Lee, is stepping down because Uber hosted an event called “Don’t Call Me Karen.” According to the black and hispanic workers of Uber said that the event was more about the term than how white people cause harm to black and hispanic people. A$AP Rocky did not hesitate to get on the microphone to stop people from fighting in the VIP section in the club he and Rihanna were attending. He told them to act like gentlemen in our presence. Gabrielle Union has stood her ground on her and her husband, Dwayne Wade, splitting the bills in their household. She said that she is taking care of three households and she has peace with her family. Dr. Cynthia Sutherland, cyber security expert, joined the RSMS Crew to talk about how to keep our devices secure. Please listen, but more than anything, please reset your router. The RSMS Crew talked about different phobias that people have. This came from an article that stated the majority of women are afraid of giving birth.
