We have to send our condolences to three people who were killed in Jacksonville, FL by a white man who purposely killed black people out of hate. The shooting took place at a Dollar General blocks away from the HBCU Edward Waters University. The former daytime game show host, Bob Barker dies at the age of 99. Bob Barker was the host of “The Price is Right” for 35 years. Eva Marcille divorce has been finalized with ex-husband, Michael Sterling. They both leave the marriage with what they came with and there is no child support or spousal support agreement. They formerly married couple have a custody agreement that they have agreed upon privately. Comedian and actor Earthquake joins The RSMS crew. The old roommates, Rickey and Earthquake spent time reminiscing when they were roommates. Earthquake also talks about his Netflix special being the highest retained special on Netflix. A judge has ruled that the music royalties Universal Music Group is holding for R. Kelly, must be paid out to his victims. That amount of money is over $500,000. Cardi B stepped up for her husband, Offset. After a post from a fan claiming that Offset was cheating on his wife again, Cardi B posted under it saying that they would be getting a message from their lawyer for lying about her husband. Carlisha Hood, who was arrested along with her fourteen year old son for murder, is now suing the city of Chicago and the police department. Carlisha Hood was being assaulted by a man when her son opened fire on him, which caused his death. After they were arrested, the murder charges were dropped against Hood and her son. Drake got a key to the city of Memphis. But people are questioning why he got the key to the city when he is from Toronto. The math skills of American eighth graders have dropped the largest amount in fifty years according to the National Report Card. Test scores have been dropping since 2012 and the pandemic did not help any at all when it comes to the test scores for American children. Ike Turner Jr., the son of Tina and Ike Turner, was arrested in Texas. He was stopped for a traffic violation but the 64 year old man had crack and meth on him. Ike Turner Jr. tried to eat the drugs to hide the evidence. Scottie Pippen is required to give his ex-wife, Larsa Pippen, half of his Chicago Bulls retirement money. The courts are saying that she is entitled to that money since they were married in 1997. Courts are saying that the money is to come to Larsa Pippen in one lump sum. Previous rumors that Tyler Perry has finalized a deal to buy BET is not correct. This is the first time that the US Preventative Task Force has come out with this suggestion. R. Kelly is in fear for his life in prison. This left a part of I-95 to collapse in Philadelphia and it could take months to repair. R. Kelly told a former cellmate that Jay Z once tried to kill him during the Best of Both Worlds Tour. The black Republican does not think race is a major issue in the United States and wants to change the narrative about Republicans of color. DeSantis is still behind Trump as the Republican nominee for the Presidency but it is looking like it could be a tight race. The governor of Montana is saying that he did this to protect the residents of Montana from the Chinese company that owns TikTok from getting their data. The suspect, twenty-four year old Deion Patterson, was captured and is being charged with murder and four counts of aggravated assault. Five people were shot by the suspect Patterson and one is dead. The man suspected of a mass shooting in Texas that killed five people, Francisco Oropesa, was apprehended on Tuesday by authorities. A tip was given to the FBI and that person will receive the reward money of $80,000. There have been updates on the condition of Jamie Foxx. There is still no official word of what has happened to him, but he is still in the hospital recovering. The family is asking for all to keep Jamie in your prayers. Bonnie Gouch, a seventy-eight year old woman, has been arrested for a bank robbery. Gouch slid a note to the bank teller asking for $13K in small bills. There is a manhunt for Texas man, 38 year-old Francisco Oropesa, who allegedly killed five people in a mass shooting. He was asked to stop shooting his rifle so a baby could sleep. Officials are still searching for him and there is an $80,000 reward for information for his whereabouts. Nick Cannon is not mad that Jada Pinkett Smith’s “Red Table Talk” is canceled. Cannon says that it is because of that red table that Will Smith slapped Chris Rock. Also, Young Thug is making another attempt at bond stating that the food in jail is messing up his health. Thugger is saying that the food is so bad and there are no healthy options so he should be let out of jail. Did Brian McKnight disown his other children? Well he is saying that his new son is his only true heir to his name. Now he already has two other children, and one of them is even named Brian McKnight Jr. McKnight’s other children have said their father has disowned him. Dennis Malik Barnes, a high school student out of New Orleans, LA was accepted to 170 colleges. But there is some bad news for Trump. Former Vice President Pence will have to testify against former President Trump. Rapper and one-third of the legendary hip-hop group Fugees, Pras Michel has been convicted in a political conspiracy case for trying to help China influence the US government. Former First Lady, Michelle Obama is coming under fire from some folks on Black Twitter. In an interview with Oprah, she said she cut some of her friends off once her family made it into the White House. She said everyone can go with her and people are calling her fake. The RSMS crew said that Michelle Obama is absolutely correct and sometimes you have to outgrow people. Harry Belafonte has passed away at the age of 96. He was an actor, musician and civil rights activist and we send condolences to his family and friends. Toni Braxton revealed she recently had heart surgery due to complications from Lupus. She was close to having a massive heart attack if she did not have the surgery. The RSMS crew talked about the top five things that black people buy in the gas station. I don’t think you will be that surprised. Tyrese has been in the news a lot recently and it has not stopped. Tyrese is ordered to pay $636,000 from a judge to his ex-wife for child support. It is Wellness Wednesday with Dr. MJ Collier.
