Without any doubt our Sonar 2012 highlight: born and raised in Istanbul, studied in London, relocated to Paris in 2005, and actually Berlin-Based (ouf!), the unpredictable Tolga Fidan is our guest for this installment.. His musical interest organically morphed into deep techno, signed exclusively with Vakant, and became the label’s youngest-ever artist. That one has a German twist in it. Berlin Based Gunnar Stiller is Ronin & Nesta guest for this installment: becoming a fixture of the city's underground scene, he quickly gained notoriety playing in clubs like Watergate, Panorama Bar and Bar 25. Stiller’s technique is deep in character, an outward-reaching combination of techno and house with his trademark funk-tinged basslines - and we've witnessed that! He also produces solid dancefloor filler on respected labels like Upon You and Voltage Musique. Enjoy the ride!

Can't get enough of the Wink don't you? Following his epic marathon set at B 018 on Easter Sunday with Mix FM, it just came naturally to invite him to our next guestmix installment: Philadelphia born and based DJ, Josh Wink is one of the true pioneers of techno, house and allied styles - blurring the definitions... and we're proud to welcome him to the show!

Ahead of his Mamajunk EP release on June 22, we welcome Colors London co-founder Stephane Ghenacia to the show. With a strong and tireless commitment to authentic House music, and creativity overlooking all his outputs, Stephane’s parties and work have been supported by the likes of Craig Richards, Chez Damier, Ekkohaus and Ivan Smagghe. Expect groovy stripped-back House for this installment!

Harry Klein records co-founder and Half Baked resident Juilietta graces our May guestmix. Her style varies somewhere between House and Techno with all its deep and dubby facets, and stands out with a particular mixture of rare old and modern tracks. With 2014 almost coming to an end, and episode #400 just around the corner, we welcome London based and Italian born Chromatic Filters, laying down our next chapter. Taking inspirations from the early 80s disco, jazzy beats and Detroit techno influences, they are a key figure of the critically acclaimed Rebirth Records, constantly releasing on the imprint and playing London best clubs including East Village, Egg and CAMP. Enjoy their emotional journey into cosmic disco and deep electronic beats; a fusion of many differing elements with live instruments, woven together with an incredible sense of dynamism!

Originally hailing from Romania, NTFO burst into the scene in 2010, with the release of their first vinyl album. Soon enough, and beginning to fly higher than expected, their work started landing in the hands of some of the world’s best electronic music producers, namely Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Solomun and Butch, all showing support and happily charting the NTFO boys. Quite impressive for a first! Since then, the boys have been committed to upfront music, joining the Diynamic camp, collaborating with the likes of Rhadow, H.O.S.H. and Karmon, and regularly releasing on Sintope, Gruuv and Kiara. Following their big debut in Beirut last month, this guestmix showcases what Dani and Robert do best. Keep an eye out for the two. Enjoy!

A successful DJ and producer, co-owner of the irrepressible Soweso record label with fellow Dutchman Lauhaus, and constantly striving for the highest level of quality throughout everything he does; Liron van Daalen aka Kabale und Liebe rises up to become one of Holland's most exciting and reputable electronic music artists. He tours and plays relentlessly while constently releasing on labels such as Remote area, Souvenir Plus and Rejected. A return to spinning vinyl has helped to inject a healthy dose of dynamism back into his sets, some of his old tricks have been brought back into play, reinforcing his love for the craft. Born with a weird haircut, a dream to be a Lego engineer, he started spinning at local pubs and clubs before joining the leading radio station & promoter in the region Mix FM; playing alongside electronic music heavyweights Tale Of Us, Lee Foss, Marco Carola and Apollonia to name just a few. Nadja Lind and Helmut Ebritsch have been playing together under the Klartraum banner since 2006 at Fabric, as part of Circoloco at DC10, Tresor and many other places around the world. Jesper Larsen and Simon Knøsgaard have a knack for creating intricate soundscapes with a deeply emotional imprint. Spending his early years in Cape Town, he moved to London, followed by Lisbon, before finally settling in Berlin. He has also reated his Bodycode alias - somewhere between the beats for the body and melody for the soul - layering tech-funk with wisps of melody, heady effects, and a liberal wash of otherworldly vocal samples. Lele Sacchi is just a red cape short of being the Superman Italiano. Hailing from the underground house and techno scene, Josh Caffe has remarkable crowd reading abilities, delivering the perfect sets at both intimate basement parties and huge festivals such as Lovebox and Glastonbury. The inquisitive artist, just like his moniker, reboots his musical output every once in a while by infusing influences from all kinds of genres and a heap of his burning passion. Reboot, discovered his love for music as a kid in Frankfurt, sneaking in to Sven Vath’s Omen club. Little did he know that it’s on Vath’s notorious Cocoon label that he would later release his compelling material, as well as on Defected, Cadenza, Circus, and his own Noon Records. The release of “aLive” this summer on Get Physical Music, has been long-awaited, and luckily for you, here’s a mix made for your precious ears. Before being old enough to even enter a club, Berlin-based Kiki had residencies at some of the biggest ones in his native Helsinki. Moving to Berlin helped his notoriety as a DJ grow, and sent him on a head spinning around-the-globe tour, from Mexico to Tokyo and Ibiza. Ten years later, he ventured into production and has had a voluminous output ever since on labels like Watergate, Exploited and Crosstown Rebels. He and Alessio Pagliaroli have teamed up to produce a freshly released EP by the awesome name of We Turn Into Animals, on My Favorite Robot Records. Devour this mix with no moderation.

Sonic enthusiast from underwater Beirut. The fish takes you on a trip with undercurrents of soul and rhythms. A filmmaking graduate, his love of music translated into sound design and scores for films. His surroundings affect majorly his artistic expression, and the city of Beirut is no exception: a schizophrenic way of mixing and producing; mashing up sounds of soul, jazz, world music with electronica, breaks and 4 on 4 beats. Two guys, Miami, rampant debauchery and wild rides. This might sound like Miami Vice to you, and it is indeed vicious, to the ears. Christian “Pridef” Diaz and Adam Cruz, better known as Cocodrills are a successful pair who’ve climbed up the ladder fast thanks to their hard work and perseverance. Last year, they scored an exclusive residency at Space Club, this year, they have an EP out on Stacey Pullen’s Blackflag label called “Got it Good”, and this week, they’ve prepared this wicked mix for you. Steve Bug is a constant of the scene through an insane DJing schedule, numerous releases and his place at the reins of three different labels such as the renowned Poker Flat. His path however has been everything but flat as he is only growing bigger, breaking boundaries and reinventing the norms ever since he started 20 years ago.
