True Crime Cleanup on Aisle H is a comedy podcast where the hosts, Kurt Money and Kateline, take an episode of true crime television and clean it up, talking about the case covered and how the show covers it. Some shows are really good at it, like your Datelines and what have you. Other shows are not so good at it, like the long-forgotten Exhibit A: Secrets of Forensic Science...and we talk about them too!
- 126 - 125. Deadliest Mums and Dads "Precious Doe"
Kurt Money and Kateline breakdown the incredible story of Precious Doe, a child whose body was found in 2001 but not identified until 2005. Detective Bernard put his life and soul into this case and good on him, but the true hero, and all-star of the episode is easily...ALONZO WASHINGTON. Give it up for the guy who helped find Precious Doe's identity all the while producing a comic book with his picture on it. Oh, and have you ever wondered what the signifier of an identity was? Or if the face was the face of a person? Well, there's a talking head with a British criminologist that will rock your world.
Fri, 06 Mar 2026 - 51min - 125 - 124. Fear Thy Neighbor, "The Mayor"
Kurt Money has finally dragged Kateline to the wonderful world of Neighbs, and how thy entertain thee. This is perhaps our longest episode yet and that's because of the complete monster we discuss, Nova Scotia "denturist" Gabriel Wortman and the horrible acts he committed April 18-19th, 2020.
Kurt Money can't decide who the worst Canadian is, Robert Pickton or this Wortman POS. He doesn't debate that in the episode, he's debating it now as he types this description. Pickton probably still takes the cake. But Gabe sucks big time, too. Listen to this episode to find out how!
Fri, 27 Feb 2026 - 1h 10min - 124 - 123. Forensic Investigators, "Stephen Dempsey"
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the 2004 episode of FORENSIC INVESTIGATORS on the death of Stephen Dempsey and also of family man cab driver Eddie Bahman in Sydney, Australia, in 1994. That's right! Not only is this an episode about cases in Australia, it's an Australian show. Plus...its got some definite FF vibes going for it. Great show gets a great podcast episode about it. Need we say more?
Fri, 20 Feb 2026 - 1h 02min - 123 - 122. Pandora’s Box: Unleashing Evil: Angel of Death
Don’t let that mouthful of a title scare ya, this is another banger of a true crime episode that Kurt Money and Kateline breakdown. You know who you should be scared of? Cherrylle Dell! K$ and KL discuss what she did to anyone who DARED to love her in Canada in the mid-90s.
Also, Kurt Money mentions a takedown video he did about the new The ‘Burbs tv show. To watch that, check out the YouTube channel: @kmoneysmindgrapes or on TikTok: @kmoneys_mindgrapes
Fri, 13 Feb 2026 - 55min - 122 - 121. The Serial Killers "The Broomstick Killer"
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the 1994 true crime gem, The Serial Killers, and the episode on Kenneth Allen McDuff, the so-called Broomstick Killer. His nickname sucks and so does he, but you know what doesn't suck? This show, The Serial Killers. It rules!!!! K$ and KL discuss the 1966 murders that put McDuff away, the 1972 ruling that helped him get out in 1990, and the 1991 murders that put him back behind bars for good until his well-earned execution by the state in 1993.
Fri, 06 Feb 2026 - 43min - 121 - 120. Dateline "The Trouble With Sarah" (2026)
Kurt Money and Kateline go back to the Dateline well for a new update episode about the murder of Joe Hartsfield at the hands of his wife, Sarah. Joe was Sarah's fifth husband but nowhere near the first one she tried to kill. Keith Morrison reports and K$ and KL love every minute of it. Especially the bit about the snoring. That's a K$ fave.
Fri, 30 Jan 2026 - 1h 04min - 120 - 119. Accident, Suicide or Murder "Ellen Greenberg"
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the 2011 death of Ellen Greenberg in Philadelphia, PA. Her fiance, Sam, found her body behind "a locked door" with 20 stab wounds....yet police and sometimes the medical examiner have called this a suicide for 15 years. Say what now?!! K$ and KL investigate and keep their cool about it.
Fri, 23 Jan 2026 - 43min - 119 - 118. Bizarre Murders
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the first episode of the Amazon Prime true crime show, BIZARRE MURDERS. We are not listing the episode title because K$ thinks its a spoiler. An angry husband enlists a hitman to take out his wife and....it does not go well.
At the end of the episode, K$ name checks a Crime Junkie episode about the murder of Mary Morris. That episode was from September 23rd, 2024 if you want to check it out, its great. But listen to our ep first!
Fri, 16 Jan 2026 - 36min - 118 - 117. 48 Hours "Blood On the Sand"Fri, 09 Jan 2026 - 59min
- 117 - 116. Who Hired The Hitman? "The Murder of Big Joe"
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the HBO MAX show Who Hired A Hit Man about the murder of Joseph "Big Joe" Niwinski in Harford, CT, in 2000. Found on his head was a business card that said, "Pane Realty." Was this a message from the killer to the dead body, here is your delivery of death to your doorstep?! No, of course not! But the cops sure think its something!
Fri, 02 Jan 2026 - 50min - 116 - 115. Mother May I Murder? "Whatever Mother Wants"
Holy Polygraph, it's a Christmas miracle! Newest episode of the pod drops A DAY EARLY so all you Holtheads can spend the big day doing what you really want: listening to the story of the most twisted case of murder, incest and ziploc bags of your dead wife's hair at the bedside you've ever heard. Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the month old episode of HBO Max's MOTHER MAY I MURDER about Damon and Sonya Bamberg and their love affair for the ages. What's the best method for open mouth kissing, Damon wonders...well, Mommy knows best! Listen now to spend the holidays the way they were meant to be spent, cringing and yelling at your podcast device for the unhinged depravity.
"Thasshis MOMMA!"
Thu, 25 Dec 2025 - 49min - 115 - 114. Michael Winner's True Crimes "Prints on a Coffee Cup"
Kurt Money and Kateline hop across the pond to watch a 22-minute banger of an ep about the plight of Jens Söring and Elizabeth Haystrom for the years 1986 to 1990. Those names sound familiar? They might, because Netflix did a four-part docuseries on this case recently. Guess what, though? This 35 year old 22 minute episode tells the story WAYYYY BETTER. Oh and wouldn't you believe it, cops in the 1980s think for a hot sec that a satanic cult did the crimes.
This episode first appeared on our now-defunct Patreon pay wall earlier this year but is on the main feed for the first time TODAY. Kurt Money will give you the scoop at the beginning, but both K$ and KL will be back next Friday with a brand new episode about a hilarious episode of Mother, May I.
Michael Winner's True Crimes was streaming on Prime at the time of this recording. Available at ANY time? Our social handles! @truecrimecleanup on Instagram and YouTube!!!
Fri, 19 Dec 2025 - 57min - 114 - 113. Dateline "The Ruse" (LESTER'S FIRST EP)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the shortest Dateline episode in history, "The Ruse," which aired Friday, December 5th, 2025. But even more interesting than that is that it is, in fact, hosted by Lester Holt! This is his first episode that's all his, and well...K$ and KL got questions. Questions for Lester, questions for the producers, and most importantly, questions for the all-timer Deputy Dinguses that dared show their face on TV.
In 2018, Tom Perez Jr faced the most harrowing interrogation session with the most questionable of tactics...and a crime hadn't even been committed yet. Who is to blame? Is it the—lol, who are we kidding. The dinguses are to blame!! Give a listen to a fascinating case and our thoughts on where they went wrong and how it went right. Spoiler: The dog, Margo, is the all-star of the episode.
Fri, 12 Dec 2025 - 47min - 113 - 112. Swamp Murders "We Miss You Darling"
Kurt Money and Kateline head back to the swamps!! Today they discuss the season one episode of Swamp Murders about the murder of Carol Hutto, in Largo, Florida, in December 1976. Have you been feeling like there haven't been any deputy dinguses lately? Well you're in luck! We got a BIG one today! Plus a non-dingus saves the day decades later.

Fri, 05 Dec 2025 - 46min - 112 - 111. A Plan To Kill "Killer Neighbor"
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss an episode of the Oxygen/Peacock show, A Plan To Kill. Sam Herr is missing and there's a dead woman in his bedroom with a message written on her back. Is Sam on the run? Or is he also in danger? Suspect or victim?
True Crime Cleanup on Aisle H is a comedy podcast that covers the events of a true crime show, any crime show, as long as it has a murder it is fair game. They talk details about the case, having respect for the victims while roasting the idiot jerk killers...and the occasional deputy dingus if they're bad at their jobs.
Fri, 28 Nov 2025 - 57min - 111 - 110. Forensic Files "Sex, Lies & DNA"
After the super duper episode last week, Kurt Money and Kateline return to the FF well to find their center again. And guess what? All FFs are 10 outta 10s, and that's the case with season 2's "Sex, Lies & DNA" about the murder of Ruby Morris in Phoenix, June 1989. Her husband Earl Morris was on a road trip to manage their daughter's country music career, so there is no way he is involved in the murder. Just like there is no way that's a toup on his head. That's totally real. Give a listen to hear at the very least THREE bomb drops that this 22-minute FF gives the viewer like its nothing. And check out our IG @truecrimecleanup for pics of proof!
Fri, 21 Nov 2025 - 37min - 110 - 109. The Body Next Door (2024)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss a three-part documentary series from across the pond, the absolutely BANGIN’ The Body Next Door. A body wrapped 41 times is found in the garden of a four unit apartment complex. The body is only a few weeks old but can only be tied to 70-something Leigh Sabine. Only problem is…Leigh died the month before after a long battle with cancer. So who is the body in the bag and who put it there? This story unfolded in Beddau, Wales, in November of 2015 but the real story begins in New Zealand in 1969. Watch The Body Next Door on BBC Select.
Fri, 14 Nov 2025 - 1h 11min - 109 - 108. Tell Me How I Died "Unholy Man"
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the terrible luck that respected pastor AB Schirmer has when it comes to wives. One wife, Jewel, dies by tripping on the vacuum. Nine years later, Betty (wife #2), takes off her seatbelt moments before dying in a head-on car crash in their 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser. This poor guy!! What are the chances?! And are those the only suspicious deaths in AB's life? NOPE!!
There is a big debate in this episode about whether a PT Cruiser is blue or silver and if there is one PT Cruiser in this case or two. See the @truecrimecleanup Instagram to see pics for yourself!
Fri, 07 Nov 2025 - 52min - 108 - 107. Dateline - Deadly Mischief
CUE THE BAHA MEN, BABY!! MURPHDOG IS BACK IN ACTION!! That's right, Dennis Murphy makes his triumphant return to Dateline for an update episode on the Dan Markel murder case. We've already locked up Charlie Adelson for life...which Adelson is next? Why, Donna, OF COURSE!!!! The entire Adelson clan is super miserable these days and Kurt Money is Here For It™. Did Kateline like the episode better the second time around than she did originally in April of 2024 when we first covered the Dan Markel case? Listen to find out!
Also...since this is an update case, K$ and KL are not breaking down the entire case, just discussing what's been added to this, the trial of Donna Adelson. Oh, and Charlie Adelson stubs his toe and absolutely loses it on a prison guard. Top shelf comedy, folks.
Listen to episode #33 of the pod to hear our thoughts on the case beat by beat!
Fri, 31 Oct 2025 - 38min - 107 - 106. The Real Murders on Elm Street
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the extremely disturbing and hard-to-believe-but-it-actually-happened "Killer in the Walls" episode of The Real Murders on Elm Street (HBOMax, S1E01 aired 2024). A triple murder in 1987 shocks the residents of Townsend, MA. Even more shocking...the killer hasn't been caught yet. This is a doozy of a case and a pretty dang good podcast episode so give it a listen!
Fri, 24 Oct 2025 - 55min - 106 - 105. The Friday the 13th Murders
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the second episode of the new show called "The Friday the 13th Murders." The episode discussed is called "We All Go A Little Mad" and the murder has to do with the movie The Exorcist. Also, Nightmare on Elm Street makes an appearance. Needless to say, K$'s list is off the charts this week!
Plus, the Dixie Mafia might be involved? Kateline reports. Follow us @truecrimecleanup on Instagram for photos of stuff talked about in the episode!
Fri, 17 Oct 2025 - 54min - 105 - 104. The Speedway Murders
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the documentary, The Speedway Murders, about the night in 1978 when four employees vanished from a Burger Chef restaurant in Speedway, Indiana. This doc does something that annoyed a lot of critics when it came out last year but there are two critics who absolutely loved it....Kurt Money and Kateline!!

Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the four murders of The Yosemite Park Killer in 1999 as covered in the season one episode of Paramount Plus's FBI TRUE. No one is more in love with themselves than the FBI so it is only fitting they have yet another show dedicated to their exploits and K$ and KL have a blast making fun of them for it! Listen now to hear about the untimely passing of Carole Sund, Juli Sund, Silvina Pelosso and Joie Armstrong and the relatively short search FBI agents had to go on to track down Cary Stayner.
Follow us on instagram @truecrimecleanup and check out posts for the episode featuring images of what was discussed in this episode.

Jamie Haggard goes missing in 2016, her body is found in a suitcase in 2018, and justice finally gets served in 2021. With a show with "Forensic" in the title, you just KNOW its a banger, and this does not disappoint. We're doing special math in Photoshop and a Dr. Pepper can, idiots are doing voice to text, and also Kateline is dropping first and last name of the guy who can't be any higher than 12th on the call sheet for Love Actually. What a cleanup!!
Fri, 05 Sep 2025 - 42min - 99 - 98. Exhibit A: Secrets of Forensic Science (1997)
Kurt Money and Kateline kick off the new era of iLH....TRUE CRIME CLEANUP ON AISLE H!!! For the first ep under the new banner, K$ forces Kate to watch the Graham Greene Canadien true crime classic, EXHIBIT A: SECRETS OF FORENSIC SCIENCE (1997). A 67-year-old woman is murdered in her home in a 1992 Toronto. Was it her husband of 40 years? Or the son-in-law handyman? Or maybe, just maybe...the paperboy?
ALSO...Sexy saxophoning saves lives! Striation-free bullets! Credit score pie charts!! It's all here in the first episode of TRUE CRIME CLEANUP ON AISLE H.
Fri, 29 Aug 2025 - 36min - 98 - 97. The Second Annual LESTY AWARDS 2025Tue, 19 Aug 2025 - 1h 02min
- 97 - 96. Laurie "Bambi" Bembenek was INNOCENT
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the murder of Christine Schultz by her ex-husband, Elfred Schultz, and how in 1982 Laurie Bembenek got convicted for it and Elfred Schultz lived a full and happy life as a free man. The backbone of this episode is the "Deadly Divorce" episode of THE PERFECT MURDER, but you know that K$ Read That Book™ and has plenty of additional info to prove to Kateline why THE PERFECT MURDER got it wrong and how the cops involved in the case are the King Dingus Supremes of all Deptuy Dinguses for their handling of the case in 1980 and sticking to their BS story today.
The books read were RUN, BAMBI, RUN by Kris Radish and Laurie's own book, A WOMAN ON TRIAL.
Mon, 11 Aug 2025 - 53min - 96 - 95. The Mysterious Poisoning of Peggy Carr and Sons
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the insane 1989 poisoning case at the heart of the absolute banger of a Forensic Files, "Bitter Potion." K$ is struggling what else to say here because he just wants you to listen because it is wild and he doesn't want to spoil any twists.
This was originally on our Patreon last year and we are posting it here on the main feed to give the Holtheads a taste of what our new format will be when season 3 premieres in TWO WEEKS!!! Next week will be one more Patreon repeat and then Season 3 will start under its new name, AISLE H. What about the Lesty's, you ask? Eh, Kurt's not really feeling it this year. Not sure he's going to do it. Kinda sad at Dateline still and bitter. Kinda like the potion in this episode! Nice.
Mon, 04 Aug 2025 - 1h 03min - 95 - 94. The Many Murders of Sharon Kinne
In March of 1960, Sharon Kinne says her two-year-old daughter "accidentally" shot her husband while he was cleaning his gun. Months later, the wife of Sharon's former side piece is found dead...by Sharon's current side piece, with her in the car. Four trials (and years) later, another murder happens in Mexico. Is Sharon Kinne a serial killer, a misunderstood girl with stars in her eyes, or perhaps the luckiest murderer of all time? Kurt Money and Kateline break down this fascinating case and talk about the THRILLING update to the Sharon Kinne saga that happened in January of 2025.
The basis for their conversation is the A Crime To Remember episode, "Lucky Be A Lady," as well as an Unsolved Mysteries on the case and a frankly offensive book that K$ read about the case.
Mon, 28 Jul 2025 - 46min - 94 - 93. Lady in a BarrelMon, 21 Jul 2025 - 52min
- 93 - 92. Stone-Cold (S28E13)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the 2019 of Dateline, “Stone-Cold,” about the murder of Nick Morelos in Tucson, AZ, hosted by the one and only, Josh Mankiewicz. Unlike most victims of Dateline episodes, Nick wasn’t exacted beloved at his workplace. But it might have been because he was such a ladies man? NOTE: Listen to the end of the episode for life-altering news about the future of I’m Lester Holt.
Mon, 14 Jul 2025 - 54min - 92 - 91. The Stranger (S22E57)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the Season 22 episode, "The Stranger," hosted by Keith Morri—Excuse me, I mean, it's a Keith Morrison mystery!!!! Brittany Tavar and her two dogs went missing in July 2010 in St. Augustine, Florida. Is she just a woman out and about? Was it the lady who she choked and hit with a wine bottle? Or was it the drifter roomie who lied about being able to burn DVDs and probably about whether he trimmed his nails regularly? Better listen to find out!
Mon, 07 Jul 2025 - 51min - 91 - 90. The House in the Woods (S26E25)Mon, 30 Jun 2025 - 38min
- 90 - 89. Center of the Storm (Karen Read Verdict)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the AC hosted Dateline episode about the Karen Read verdict that aired on Thursday. K$ and KL agree on how John O'Keefe died but disagree THE MOST THEY HAVE EVER DISAGREED ON ANYTHING on the outcome of the trial. Holtheads, this is the DAMPEST episode in the history of the show. Enjoy!!
NOTE: We covered this case last October when Dateline originally aired it as, "The Night of the Nor'easter." If you are unfamiliar with this case, go check out that episode now (#54) to get the usual breakdown from us. This episode is a little different from our usual in that it is mostly our reaction to the verdict and new evidence presented in the second trial.
Mon, 23 Jun 2025 - 45min - 89 - 88. Return to the Early Shift (S27E42)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the 2019 episode of Dateline, “Return to the Early Shift,” hosted by Jmank. The pocket-squared all-star covers the death of Michelle Mockbee in Kentucky in 2012. Was it her husband and co-worker, Dan? He did cash in a $400,000 insurance policy and his alibi is simply sleeping. Or….could it be one half of another married couple who also work at the same company? Perhaps…but the funniest part of this Dateline is how there has to be a retrial because the prosecutor and main detective had a secret love affair and also someone rips their pants. It’s a pretty great Vault ep and K$ and KL are excited to break it down!
Mon, 16 Jun 2025 - 46min - 88 - 87. What Lies Beneath (S23E20)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the 2015 episode, "What Lies Beneath," hosted by Murphdog! We tried to watch the repeat they played on Friday but it's still not on Peacock so we went back to the vault for a cold case classic about the murder of Lynne Friend in August of 1994. No body, no witnesses, no DNA, no clues. Will the US Navy be able to help law enforcement reach the depths necessary for closure?
This is in Murphdog's hood, Miami baby, so you know he crushes it!
Mon, 09 Jun 2025 - 57min - 87 - 86. Rear Window (S24E48)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the 1954 Alfred Hitchcock classic, Rear Window. Just kidding! We've made a trip to the Vault™ to find an old episode from Season 24, "Rear Window," hosted by Andrea Canning. Hitchcock does get a mention though by AC! This was a blast to talk about and has some classic detective hijinks to get some DNA from a suspect. Four attempts are made! Listen now to find out. Also, zero landlords are talked about in this episode. Kateline is absolutely convinced there are.
Mon, 02 Jun 2025 - 45min - 86 - 85. Footprints in the Snow (S31E19)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the Season 31 banger hosted by the one, the only, DENNIS "MURPHDOG" MURPHY! The two are supremely pumped to have a Dawg ep to discuss and one so good as this, even if it is a repeat and Murphdog hasn't hosted a Dateline since March 15th, 2024.
"Footprints in the Snow" is about the disappearance of Jonelle Matthews in Greeley, Colorado, in December, 1984 and the 35-year search for her remains and the person responsible for her death. There are a few possible suspects and while K$ and KL do not see eye to eye on who was arrested for the crime, they 100% agree that Jim Matthews, Jonelle's father, DID NOT DO IT!!!
Check out the video version of the podcast dropping on YouTube by Wednesday and check out our Patreon "Aisle H", where for $2 a month you get two exclusive episodes a month on Dateline-adjacent content.
Mon, 26 May 2025 - 58min - 85 - 84. The Secrets of the Sliding Door (S33E27)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the 2012 Staten Island murder of Simeonette Mapes-Crupi. Was it her husband, Jonathan's sneaker collection that inspired a burglary gone wrong? Or was it the silencing of a witness who saw a gang member murdered across the street? We're not spoiling but we can tell you the murderer went to the only hardware store ever mentioned on Dateline, Home Depot! This episode is not sponsored by Home Depot but it is sponsored by Shakespeare's MacBeth.
The Dateline episode discussed is "The Secrets of the Sliding Door" that originally aired on NBC on May 4th, 2025, hosted by Keith Morrison.
Check out the video version of this podcast posting on the YouTube page tomorrow! And search "Aisle H" on Patreon to get two bonus episodes a month about Dateline-adjacent content!
Mon, 19 May 2025 - 41min - 84 - 83. The Terrible Night on King Road (S33E28)
Bryan Kohberger Facing Death Penalty For 2022 University of Idaho Murders
What's this?! A new iLH on a MONDAY?! That's right!!! This is our new pod drop date, Holtheads. This way we're only two days after the Dateline has aired. Plus, K$ has been completely forgotten by the sport of NASCAR and all those hiring edit gigs for it, so he no longer feels obligated to watch all three races every weekend. With that out of the way, let's talk about the University of Idaho murders in 2022 and about the trial coming up in 12 weeks that might end in a firing squad death sentence.
Early in the morning of November 13th, 2022, in Moscow, Idaho, a masked intruder believed to be Bryan Kohberger broke into an off-campus residence of four University of Idaho students and murdered them with a knife he bought off Amazon. The four victims were Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin. Kohberger was arrested a month later and faces a charge of first-degree murder. His trial is set to begin August 11th, 2025, in Boise, Idaho.
In their May 9th episode entitled, “The Terrible Night on King Road,” Keith Morrison and Dateline reveal new information about the case like security footage of Kohberger’s 2013 white Elantra driving by the house numerous times before parking nearby and speeding away just 7 minutes later at 4:20am. Also revealed are Kohberger’s google searches around the time of the stabbing, including watching videos about serial killer, Ted Bundy, a remix of Britney Spears’ “Criminal”, searches for a KABAR knife on Amazon, and selfies of himself posing like Bundy. He idolized Bundy and other killers like Son of Sam, David Berkowitz.
The prosecution will be pursuing the death penalty for Kohberger while the defense is planning on arguing that his autism diagnosis should remove that from the table. If he is convicted and sentenced to death, Kohberger will be the first inmate on death row in Idaho to be executed via firing squad since a new law was signed last Spring.
Kurt Money and Kateline co-host a podcast about each new Dateline episode and go in detail about this episode, the events that led up to the murder on November 13th as well as critique Dateline’s coverage of the case.

Mon, 12 May 2025 - 59min - 83 - 82. Mystery in Minot (S33E26)
Real talk, Holtheads. Kurt Money and Kateline were not crazy about this episode of Dateline either. We hate having back to back misses, but here we are. Fear not! There is still a lot of interesting stuff to talk about (like the verdict reaction in court) and it is most likely just missing some info because Dateline did not have access to the prosecution, defense or the true crime show, Cold Justice, for their side of the story. This podcast episode is a blast, however, because even a swing-and-a-miss from Dateline is a true crime 7/10 for K$ and KL and they love talking about it. Plus, K$ squeezes in a killer Shaggy joke that he’s proud of. Hint…it WAS me! Boom, there’s another.
This episode is about the death of Anita Knudson in June, 2007, in Minot, North Dakota. After her dad finds her body in her bedroom it takes almost 20 years to bring it to trial. And even then…the justice remains cold. One thing is for sure though, Tyler didn’t do it!
Thu, 08 May 2025 - 52min - 82 - 81. The Devil's in the Details (S33E225)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the newest episode of Dateline, "The Devil's in the Details." Michael Cochran passes out, hits head and dies five days later. Was this an accident? A side effect of his steroid use? Or part of an elaborate plan (among many other side plans) at the hands of his grieving ex-wife, Natalie? K$ and KL were not crazy about this episode but they had a lot of fun discussing it. So maybe they loved it?!
Thu, 01 May 2025 - 53min - 81 - 80. The Pin At Apartment 210
Jasmine Pace goes missing in Chattanooga, Tennessee, during Thanksgiving 2022. Finding her is up to the police—lol, who are we kidding? They didn't do a thing. It was a holiday weekend, for crying out loud! Luckily the Pace family is here to step in and be the most badass family in grieving Kurt Money and Kateline have ever seen.
Thu, 24 Apr 2025 - 42min - 80 - 79. The Widow of Woodland Hills (S33E23)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the newest Friday episode of Dateline about the murder of celebrity hairstylist Fabio Sementilli at the hands of his wife, Monica Sementilli and her lover, the former porn star/current sex offender boyfriend, Rob Baker. You might be thinking, hey what's with the spoilers?! But the title of the Dateline spoils who the killer is anyway and Kateline is NOT here for it.
Check out the video version on YouTube dropping tomorrow and join our Patreon, Aisle H, for $2 a month and two bonus episodes!
Thu, 17 Apr 2025 - 1h 03min - 79 - 78. Deadly Obsession (S33E21)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the newest episode of Dateline, "Deadly Obsession," which aired Friday, April 4th, 2025. Hosted by our girl AC, this episode was loved by one of the hosts and not so much by the other. Can you guess who didn't like it? Here's a hint...there's more trial than usual. Where is my puffy coat?!?
Be sure to check out the video version of this episode on our YouTube tomorrow, Friday. And search "Aisle H" on Patreon to find us where for $2 a month we talk about other true crime shows and some fake ones too!
Thu, 10 Apr 2025 - 47min - 78 - 77. The House on Sidney's Cove (S24E44)
Kurt Money and Kateline got a fever and the only prescription is more Murphdog....so we're back to The Vault™, baby!!!! This week we go all the way back to season 24's "The House on Sidney's Cove" about the murder of Nique Leili. Was it her good for nothing husband, Matt, with his crazy eyes? Or was it....um....the...no, actually Matt's pretty much the only suspect here. Also make sure you watch the video version of the podcast posting on YouTube tomorrow to see the new graphics for the hot-off-the-presses segment, JUDGE MONEY DECREES...as well as a cameo by Detective Megamind! It's all happening and if you don't listen and LOVE IT then you're just BATS!!!!
Thu, 03 Apr 2025 - 51min - 77 - 76. Poison Twist (S33E20)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the updated case about the murder of Mary Yoder in 2015 at the hands of.....well, K$ and KL aren't exactly sure. Until the end! Listen now to see if it was the two-timing husband Bill, her tormented son Adam or his soft spoken girlfriend, Kaitlyn "Katie" Conley.
ATTN: Medical Profession Holtheads! Kateline brings up a great point in this episode that K$ did not grasp until after recording: Mary and Bill Yoder were chiropractors, how was their office allowed to order a medicine that needs a prescription? If you know the answer, let us know!
Fri, 28 Mar 2025 - 1h 03min - 76 - 75. Forensic Files "Killigraphy"
BONUS EP! Here's a little taste of what we get up to over at the Patreon (search "Aisle H"), our very first non-Dateline episode ever on the plight of Alvin Ridley, the town weirdo who in 1997 was accused of murdering his wife, Virginia, after keeping her hostage for 30 years. Kurt Money and Kateline love breaking down this episode, and real talk, they discuss a good chunk of delightful information about Alvin Ridley that was not in the episode but was in the book about him, The Zenith Man: Death, Love and Redemption in a Georgia Courtroom, written by McCracken Poston, Jr. Along with having the best first name in history, McCracken defended Alvin during his trial and the story deserves not just a podcast episode about it, but a friggin' movie. Until Kurt Money can make that happen enjoy this hour of discussion on a misunderstood town crank, the lawyer who defended him, and a Thanksgiving dinner-to-go that made the case.
Join the Aisle H patreon for more episodes like this! Other true crime shows are discussed or even episodes of fictional shows about a murder because if it's Dateline-adjacent we will talk about it! Aisle H, where true crime and comedy are on the same shelf.
Mon, 24 Mar 2025 - 56min - 75 - 74. Deadly Entanglement (S33E19)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the Dateline episode, "Deadly Entanglement," about the murder of Desiree Sunford in Yakima County, Washington, in 2013. Art teacher, harley owner, gun-toting Desiree is celebrated by K$ and KL but they are not nearly as nice about her husband, Scott. Go in the house, bud! This is your chance to be a hero!
Join the Patreon for two bonus episodes a month! Search "Aisle H" on patreon.com
Fri, 21 Mar 2025 - 54min - 74 - 73. Deadly Conspiracy (S20E61)
Kurt Money and Kateline are back in the Vault™ so they can avoid having to spend an hour talking about Lori Daybell. They skipped that new Dateline entirely to venture back to the year of 2012, when Keith Morrison was in full-on peak KM mode with his amazing Mousetrap runner about the murder of Jack Jessee in 1998 at the hands of....we're not telling! But it's pretty clear once you get into the episode. Listen now!
Sat, 15 Mar 2025 - 53min - 73 - 72. The Haunted House Confession (S33E17)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the newest episode of Dateline, “The Haunted House Confession” hosted by Dateline rookie Blayne Alexander. Blayne’s been sent down to Lake Brownwood in Texas to find out who murdered 25-year-old Chantay Blankenship. Was it the good samaritans who found her body? Was it her jealous older boyfriend? Or was it her side piece, Colin? K$ and KL got their thoughts! And it certainly wouldn’t be a Dateline murder if some dummy didn’t try to blame it on cults! Listen now wherever you get your pod on.
VIDEO VERSION coming this weekend! Check it out on our youtube (@imlesterhot) to get a peek at the horror house Kurt Money lives next to and search “AISLE H” on Patreon to sign up for our exclusive spinoff pod that drops a new episode every two weeks for $2 a month.
Fri, 07 Mar 2025 - 50min - 72 - 71. A Walk Through The Woods (S33E16)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the Dateline episode "A Walk Through The Woods" about the Delphi murders, the many suspects in the case including a guy named Anthony Shots, as well as a creep who works at a CVS who has a wife he's probably not happy with at the mome. AC hosts a dang good Dateline and Kurt Money and Kateline are speechless trying to figure out how a dude can give an interview on TV while working out at the same time.
Fri, 28 Feb 2025 - 1h 01min - 71 - 70. Return To The Lake (S33E15)
Dateline revisits the case of Susan Smith and her two kids that she drowned in her car and then said for 9 days she robbed (of her kids) at gunpoint. This one is hosted by...Craig Melvin? Is he part of the Dateline crew?! K$ needs an introduction or something from Lester or this doesn't feel like a proper Dateline. Also, K$ and KL return to the song of the season, "WHERE IS MURPHDOG?!" and is he okay?? This was his case, dangit!
Fri, 21 Feb 2025 - 38min - 70 - 69. Under the Bay Bridge (S33E14)
JMANK is back in the house, Holtheads, and Kurt Money and Kateline are happy to see him. That does NOT mean that we don't have a few bones to pick with the man or with the episode as a whole, because we do. You'll have to listen to find out but here's a little clue...it has to do with the repeated use of the word "Victim Plus." Plus K$ and KL come close to throwing 'bows after Kateline reallyyyyyyy speaks out of school about T-Swift. Also, asking for the uninitiated....what is a "whippet"?
Fri, 14 Feb 2025 - 54min - 69 - 68. Mommy and Clyde (S33E13)
Sure, the episode was actually called “The Devil Wore White” but I think we can all agree that Lester nailed it with the TRUE TITLE of this episode when he called it MOMMY AND CLYDE. This Keith Morrison hosted banger is easily the best Dateline episode of the season and a possible front runner for a Lesty Award. Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the absolutely bonkers story of Sante Kimes and her son/lover Kenny Kimes and the four dead bodies left in their wake. Not to mention at least....3 burnt down houses? We can’t keep track! Listen to the episode and judge for yourself whether Sante can pull off an Elizabeth Taylor impression. Spoiler: ....nah.
Sat, 08 Feb 2025 - 1h 04min - 68 - 67. Deadly Mirage (S33E12)Sat, 01 Feb 2025 - 43min
- 67 - 66. A Little Patch of Perfect (S33E11)
FINALLY!!! Dateline is new again! And Kurt Money and Kateline are here to discuss all the details....like how Keith just will not shut up about how huge Big Daddy was. Or how Melody shouldn't lie about how her tattoo is her favorite booze and not a bonding sign with her now deceased husband. And can we all just take it easy on Scott for a bit? He didn't do it!!
Fri, 24 Jan 2025 - 1h 03min - 66 - 65. The Secrets of Birch View Drive (S31E13)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the 2015 murder of Connie Dabate as covered in the Dateline episode, "The Secrets of Birch View Drive," that aired two Fridays ago prior to K$ spilling an energy drink on his laptop and forcing a dark week of the pod. But K$ and KL are back in the saddle and having a blast discussing the fat Vin Diesel that supposedly attacked Rick Dabate in the closet, the money saving value of a turkey baster pregnancy, and the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit vibe that real courtrooms are lacking today. YES OR NO, DETECTIVE!
Fri, 17 Jan 2025 - 39min - 65 - 64. The Knock At the Door (S25E41)
Kurt Money and Kateline keep that Vault train rolling with another old Dateline to discuss since Keith and Co. are still on their holiday vacah. Notice we didn't call this Dateline a "banger." 'Twas not a banger but you know this episode of iLH is! KM is on a Murphdoggian jag in this episode and K$ and KL are loving every second of it. Bolo? BOLO?!?! Listen now!
Video version goes live on the iLH YouTube channel (Aisle H, @imlesterholt) at 3pm EST today!! Not only does it have video of what we're talking about throughout the ep, it also features Kurt Money's favorite transition he has ever crafted and of course, it's a MacGruber reference.
Fri, 03 Jan 2025 - 34min - 64 - 63. The Prussian Blue Mystery (S27E47)
Dateline's still on the rerun train, it being the holidays and all, but Kurt Money and Kateline are here with brand new thoughts on another From The Vault. It's not hosted by any of the Main Four, but it is still pretty dope considering it deals with a type of blue paint that is the only antidote to thallium poisoning and also the FBI is involved being all gatekeepy about it. Also, K$ makes the usual stretches to get some classic Seinfeld, Breaking Bad and Kenny Powers clips in the show. Get what you deserve. Get the Sony. You gotta listen! Not only for the usual iLHness but because of a MASSIVE MASSIVE UPDATE!!!!!
Stick around to the end of the episode for an update on everyone's favorite dawg, MURPHDOG, and his whereabouts. This required an emergency recording sesh between Future Kurt and Future Kate.
Fri, 27 Dec 2024 - 37min - 63 - 62. The Man of Many Faces (S33E10)
Somewhere, Remy Ramsaran weeps because he has just been dethroned as the funniest AC interview ever. Holtheads...meet Nicholas Alahverdian. Or Nicholas Rossi. Or Arthur Knight, innocent Irish orphan. None of those are jokes and all very real. Listen now to hear K$ and Kateline lose their minds over the idea that this DUMMY thought he could fool anyone, ever. And if you don't listen? Well, that would be a right low blow.
Video version coming to YouTube on Saturday!! Check it out for visuals of this absolute toolbag in his element, element being gas mask and wheelchair. Also the video version will be like 10-15% different than the audio version because K$ refuses to let sound effects be in the audio version that will only make sense in the video version. So now they're different. Kinda!
Fri, 20 Dec 2024 - 56min - 62 - 61. Killer Role (S29E44)
Kurt Money and Kateline take another trip through the vault to arrive in Oregon, 2016, where Aisling Tucker Wyn Moore-Reed is out on bail for shooting her Uncle Shane in cold blood. Sure, she's got a murder trial coming up...but that's no reason not to audition for the role of a killer in a horror movie AND be super difficult on the set of a musical. And like Keith says in the episode, just like that..."A STAR IS BORN."
Video version posting to YouTube this weekend! Just audio this week on Spotify.
Fri, 13 Dec 2024 - 47min - 61 - 60. At the Bottom of the Lake (S27E03)
No new Dateline last week? No problem, Kurt Money and Kateline were off to the vault for an oldie but dang sure a goodie, "At the Bottom of the Lake." Montana, 1982: A Cessna 150 crash lands in Little Bitterroot Lake. A young couple had stolen a plane in Canada the day before but when the plane is pulled to the surface in Montana, there's only one body in it. Where's the other one? And was it murder? Or was it another tragic retelling of Romeo & Juliet? KM hosts and K$ and Kateline got plenty of opinions on the guy in the episode and the book he wrote. Also...America's Most Wanted: Final Justice shoutout! Get ready, holtheads.
Thu, 05 Dec 2024 - 55min - 60 - 59. The Killer Among Them (S33E09)
The 1996 murder of Georgia businessman Lance Herndon is discussed on the most recent episode of Dateline, so you know Kurt Money and Kateline are here with thoughts on every second of it. But before they get to the episode, K$ has an update on the search for Murphdog. Spoiler: It aint great! We're worried about our boy!!! Murphdog, reach out, the iLH crew wants to know you're still in the game. Watch the video version of this on Youtube (@imlesterholt) to see visuals of what is discussed, like shots from the trial, Talana stirring the pot, and of course....the GUM WRAPPERS.
Fri, 29 Nov 2024 - 44min - 59 - 58. Deadly Dance (S33E08)
Kurt Money and Kateline breakdown the newest episode of Dateline, "Deadly Dance," hosted by Andrea Canning. In September of 2020, Ashley Benefield shot her ex-husband in self-defense. Or DID she? LoL. Also the episode is called "Deadly Dance" because some called this the Black Swan murder because Ashley was a former ballerina and, well, Natalie Portman played a ballerina in Black Swan who does not kill anyone. This is what we call in the business, a "stretch." Such a stretch, that K$ and Kateline both forgot to mention it at all! So that's why they don't talk about the Black Swan connection during the episode or even during their lists. But watch this in video form on Spotify or YouTube or listen to it however you get your podcasts, K$ and Kateline don't care how the Holtheads Holt, just as long as the Holtin' is Happenin'.
Want more K$ and Kateline in your life and have a spare 2 bucks a month? Join their Patreon, AISLE H, for two brand new episodes a month covering Dateline-adjacent programming episodes or movies. If it's based on a murder or inspired a murder or is about a murder IRL, then it belongs on the shelves down AISLE H.
Thu, 21 Nov 2024 - 35min - 58 - 57. The Beauty and the Beast Mystery (S19E35)
Kurt Money and Kateline did not want to talk about the Menendez case again, so they are skipping the newest Dateline to discuss a classic Murphdog episode, "The Beauty and the Beast Mystery" about the murder of Lisa Pattison at the hands of her husband, Scott, and his workout machine. Who is Scottt, you ask? Oh, he's just a professional Jean Claude Van Damme lookalike of course. And does he look like JCVD? Uncle Reuben: "NO!". But before they talk about the episode, K$ brings up a very interesting question: WHERE THE HELL IS MURPHDOG?! It's been 236 days since a new Murphdog ep has graced our screens and the iLH crew ain't here for it.
Thu, 14 Nov 2024 - 40min - 57 - 56. After the Halloween Party (S33E06)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss last week's new episode of Dateline, "After the Halloween Party" hosted by Keith Morrison. K$ and Kateline are a little suspect of anyone who is judging the swingers of Dyserburg, TN, aka The Pink Poodles Club. And who killed Karen Swift in October 2011? All signs point to hubby but ol Kmon wants to hear more about this brother and his "weird" obsession with her murder, according to sister Ashley. This podcast episode is chocked full of waist-high kudzu and Gummer sightings, both Mamie and Grace, so tune in now! Or watch the video version on our YouTube (@imlesterholt) to see pics of the blazer a courthouse guy is rocking and what '90s show it resembles.
Fri, 08 Nov 2024 - 52min - 56 - 55. Deadly Omission (S33E05)Sun, 03 Nov 2024 - 47min
- 55 - 54. The Night of the Nor'easter (S33E04)
It is a BEAST of an episode today as Kurt Money and Kateline discuss last week's Dateline episode about the murder or accidental death of John O'Keefe and the one person or many persons behind the conspiracy to cover up his death. Sounds confusing, right?! That's why this is the longest regular season episode we've ever done on iLH. Also, Murphdog doesn't host "The Night of the Nor'easter", but he used to? Also, where IS Murphdog? Listen now to find out or FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER watch the podcast in video form! Stream it now on Spotify or check it out on our YouTube channel (@imlesterholt) the following day!
Sat, 26 Oct 2024 - 1h 06min - 54 - 53. Down the Rabbit Hole (S33E03)Sun, 20 Oct 2024 - 49min
- 53 - 52. Wrong Turns (S33E02)Fri, 11 Oct 2024 - 33min
- 52 - 51. The Butterfly (S33E01)
Season Two of I'm Lester Holt is here! Kurt Money and Kateline are stoked to discuss the September 27th episode of Dateline, "The Butterfly." It's 2011 in Cincinnati, and 22-year-old Katelyn Markham is missing and her boyfriend is determined to find her killer. But how does he know she's missing? He didn't ask her dad for her whereabouts before calling in a missing person. Maybe it's the creepy kid from high school? K$ and Kateline got thoughts on the Season 33 premiere of Dateline so press play, Holtheads!
Sat, 05 Oct 2024 - 46min - 51 - 50A. THE 2024 LESTY AWARDS (LIVE from the Cinerama Dome)
THE FIRST ANNUAL LESTY AWARDS ARE FINALLY HERE!!! Recorded LIVE at the Cinerama Dome, join Kurt Money and Kateline and a packed house of mostly silent Holtheads as they hand out 13 Lestys, including one for Best Episode of the Year and Most Murphdog Thing Said over an almost TWO HOUR episode!!! Get your Lestys on and be ready for Monday, September 30th, when the first episode of iLH SEASON 2 will drop covering the Dateline season premiere airing this Friday!
Sun, 22 Sep 2024 - 1h 48min - 50 - 50. Dark Intentions (S32E42)
EPISODE 50 IS HERE!!! Kurt Money and Kateline celebrate the big 5-0 by talking about the Dateline episode, "Dark Intentions," hosted by Andrea Canning about the death of two young women in the same Texas apartment complex in 1996. Give this a listen to find out why Kateline is confident it's the scariest Dateline of the year, if not ever. This a fitting end to our coverage of Dateline season 32 mostly because we are ignoring the Last Day retread that aired the following week. "Dark Intentions" is a banger of an episode, and so is episode 50 of I'M LESTER HOLT!
Discussed at the end of the episode are the plans for our Season One Finale episode that will introduce the first annual awards show for the ILH crew. Press play to find out what it's called, Holtheads!
Sat, 10 Aug 2024 - 53min - 49 - 49. The Girl With the Hibiscus Tattoo (S32E40)
Hollywood, 2003: Kristi Johnson goes missing and the ensuing investigation unearths a predator on the loose who uses James Bond for evil means. Kurt Money and Kateline are a little weirded out by Keith's blonde hair in the 2003 clips but this was a bi ol episode and tons of twists and turns. Dateline's podcast series, Murder in the Hollywood Hills, is given the tv treatment in "The Girl With the Hibiscus Tattoo."
Thu, 01 Aug 2024 - 49min - 48 - 48. Sound and Fury (S32E39)Fri, 26 Jul 2024 - 33min
- 47 - 47. If These Walls Could Talk (S32E38)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the Dateline episode, "If These Walls Could Talk," about the death of Susann Sills and if her fall down the stairs killed her or her husband, E. Scott Sills did. Was it....the dog? Or could it be....a pig?! Those both sound like insane options but you better believe the defense attorney in this episode mentions both those options as alternatives for what really happened that Veterans Day Weekend in 2016. Also, try as we might, Harold Henthorn finds his way into the show yet again! Stop it, Harold.
Thu, 18 Jul 2024 - 38min - 46 - 46. Chameleon (S32E37)
It's finally here. The crossover event of the century. True crime titans Dateline NBC and Forensic Files join forces to cover the case of murderer John David Smith and why he thinks the body in the box belongs to a goat and not one of his three ex-wives. Kurt Money and Kateline are beyond stoked to present a brand new podcast episode about a two month old Dateline and a 20-year-old FF that Kurt Money has been talking about for months. It's FINALLY HERE!!! Both episodes can be seen on Peacock, the FF is called "Deadly Matrimony," Season 9 Episode 21. IT'S GETTING HOT IN THE KITCHEN HOLTHEADS
Fri, 12 Jul 2024 - 59min - 45 - 45. Evil Walked Through The Door (S32E36)
It's here! Kurt Money has survived The Attack of the 34-year-old Dick Tracy Promotional T-Shirt and Kateline has survived her houseguests to bring you, the Holtheads, our thoughts on the Dateline episode, "Evil Walked Through The Door." Erin Gilmour and Susan Tice of Toronto were killed four months apart in 1983. It takes detectives 17 years and then another 20 or so to connect them to those DNA squares that make up the genealogy thing that Kurt Money is sure he has a grasp on. Find out for yourself on today's podcast!
Sat, 06 Jul 2024 - 44min - 44 - 44. Justice For Joy (S32E35)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the April 12th episode of Dateline, "Justice For Joy," about the 1991 murder of Joy Hibbs. Dateline rookie, Blayne Alexander, makes her triumphant return to hosting with this ep and she crushes it as per usual. So was it Joy's biker husband, Charlie? Or the drug deal gone wrong? Or....was it the pastor that visited Joy an hour before she died? Listen to find out!
Thu, 27 Jun 2024 - 36min - 43 - 43. The Night Time Stopped (S32E34)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the April 5th, 2024, episode of Dateline about the death of Anna Moriah "Mo" Wilson called, "The Night Time Stopped." This is an update episode on this case but WELL WORTH a watch because of the insane security footage they have of an escape attempt, the ACTUAL MURDER, and Colin purposely kicking camera ops at court. Keith Morrison hosted which means he's got some zingers too, check out the episode now to hear if K$ and Kateline agree on if it's actually considered "working hard" if you are on a beach while doing it.
Thu, 20 Jun 2024 - 43min - 42 - 42. A Girl Named Egypt (S32E33)
Kurt Money & Kateline discuss the season 32 Dateline episode, "A Girl Named Egypt." Egypt Covington is found dead in her apartment, tied up with Christmas lights in the middle of June. It's 2017 and the legal drug dealers next door are out of town at a musical festival. So who is to blame? The Van Buren Police Department think they know who did it so they spend 3 solid years pinning it on the wrong guy. And it wasn't DNA, it wasn't a fingerprint, it wasn't an eye witness that had them so sure. It was a...lie detector test. That's it!!! Listen to this ep now to hear K$ and Kateline break down the errors and misjudgment of a no-good police department and give calm cheers to the state coppers who finally step in and just make sure when they walk into the evidence room, they do it with their eyes open. Not shut, in slumber, like the VPBD.
Thu, 13 Jun 2024 - 51min - 41 - 41. Deadly Swap (S32E32)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the Dateline episode, "Deadly Swap," about the death of Heather Strube in a Target parking lot in Georgia in 2009. Kurt Money is operating on zero sleep, but don't worry, Kateline takes the reins about 3 minutes in and steers this ship to the end zone. Sure, this was a Snapped episode in 2013, but now we've got Murphdog's perspective on the whole affair. Plus, My Cousin Vinny comes up again!
Thu, 06 Jun 2024 - 30min - 40 - 40. The Killer on Camera 4 (S32E31)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the March 8th episode of Dateline called, "The Killer on Camera 4," although if you ask Detective Val Vaughn this puppy shoulda been called "PICTURE PERFECT." Yet another Murphdog brings the two co-hosts plenty of stuff to discuss all about the saga of the two Jens, the tragedy that they ever fell for the BS that Daniel Green was selling and will someone turn on some lights in the Green household already?!
Thu, 30 May 2024 - 48min - 39 - 39. A Life Interrupted (S32E30)
Join Kurt Money & Kateline for a discussion about the Dateline episode, "A Life Interrupted," about the murder (or disappearance?) of Jennifer Dulos, fate of Fotis Dulos and trial of Michelle Traconis. Hosted by Murphdog even though it's in AC Land, this ep has some real twists and turns in store for the Holtheads. Also, Kurt Money says it's a goose egg for his list, but um, Kmon, my man, all that Gone Girl talk is definitely a list item!!
Fri, 24 May 2024 - 42min - 38 - 38. True Confession (S32E29)
This week Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the absolute banger of a Dateline episode, "True Confession," which aired February 28th, 2024. This was an update of the wrongful conviction case against Christopher Tapp, another case against a guy named Dripps and quite possibly the most rollercoaster final 15 minutes of a Dateline in history.
Thu, 16 May 2024 - 41min - 37 - 37. The Secret in Black Rock Canyon (S32E28)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the Dateline episode, "The Secret in Black Rock Canyon," about the murder of Cassie Jo Stoddart in September 2006. Guess what isn't a secret? That this Dateline was nothing but a repurposed episode of "The Last Day" minus 10 minutes. Brian Draper and Torey Adamcik idolize the 1996 movie SCREAM and do their best to duplicate the murders. By "their best" I mean murder one person, fail at destroying the evidence, and then confess while blubbering. K$ and Kateline are both annoyed and horrified at what went down on that fall Friday in Pocatello, Idaho. Also, Kill Bill Volume 2 and Jackass Number 2 topping the box office the weekend of the murder are discussed. How could you NOT listen?! Press play, holtheads!
Sat, 11 May 2024 - 33min - 36 - 36. The Perfect Life (S32E27)
Kurt Money and Kateline are here, and so, unfortunately, is Remy Ramsaran, the star/villain of the Dateline episode discussed today, "The Perfect Life." The Perfect Host, Andrea Canning gave us a killer Dateline with some updates on a previous case, and not only do we get Remy's hijinks we are also blessed with the worst lawyer to ever appear on a Dateline. Ever.
Wed, 01 May 2024 - 47min - 35 - 35. Death at the Spa (S32E26)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the February 14th, 2024, episode of Dateline called, "Death at the Spa." Jmank hosts an episode that is jam-packed with shoebox bombs, Carole King, killer soccer moms, an FBI-attended local production of 12 Angry Jurors and one talkative actor that just will not shut up. A bomb goes off at a California spa, killing the owner Ildiko Krajnyak, but her husband is cleared from the suspect list immediately. Is one of the new men in her life? Or an older, "quirky" one? Listen now to find out! And if you didn't watch the episode and want some context to what we're talkin, head over to @imlesterholt on Instagram where every episode gets a context sheet with photos and fun videos and photoshops posted regularly. Thu, 25 Apr 2024 - 44min - 34 - 34. The Sleepover (S32E25)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the Datline episode, "The Sleepover," about the murder of Sherri Malarik in September 2001 and the trial of his Spinal Tap groupie husband, Greg, 20 years later. This AC hosted Dateline was a solid episode enjoyed by both K$ and Kateline, even if the outcome of this trial is supes frustrating.
Thu, 18 Apr 2024 - 45min - 33 - 33. Family Matters (S32E24)
Kurt Money and Kateline are here with an EXPLOSIVE new episode of I'm Lester Holt. Kateline thinks the Dateline episode, "Family Matters," is a snooze fest from front to back but Kurt Money has Read That Book™ (Extreme Punishment, by Stephen and has extra deets on the case of Dan Markel and Wendi Adelson. They may not agree on if this is a good episode or not, but they do agree on this: Donna Adelson is a star of her very own Dateline coming in early 2025 most likely.
Thu, 11 Apr 2024 - 45min - 32 - 32. Ghosts Can’t Talk (S32E23)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the Dateline episode, “Ghosts Can’t Talk.” This episode had it all from insane coincidences to nosy neighbors to the most important hop of all time. Get on it, Holtheads!
Thu, 04 Apr 2024 - 54min - 31 - 31. A Promise To Gloria (S32E22)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the January 2024 episode of Dateline called, "A Promise To Gloria." This episode feels familiar and Kateline says she knows why. Listen now to hear why this is actually an all-timer episode of Dateline even if it is a shorty. Boom!
Fri, 29 Mar 2024 - 33min - 30 - 30. The Room Downstairs (S32E21)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the January 4th, 2024, of Dateline, "The Room Downstairs." Rob Cantor's body was found in a house fire with a bullet in his head. He was killed in the same room downstairs that he consumated his relationship with Sophie Meneut. Did Sophie take out her husband? Or did Sophie's ex, Tony Tung, have a part to play in all of this?
Thu, 21 Mar 2024 - 46min - 29 - 29. Down the Basement Stairs (S32E20)
Kurt Money and Kateline are back with a new episode, dropping on Thursdays from now on! This week they cover the December 2023 episode, "Down the Basement Stairs," in which Cara Rintala is tried (FOUR TIMES) for the murder of her wife, Annemarie Cochrane Rintala. Thanks to a flub on K$, both hosts refer to her as "Anna" instead of "Anne," for most of the episode. Future Kurt apologizes for it, so hey, we're cool legally speaking, but just know he knows.
More importantly, Kurt Money and Kateline disagree on where the guilt lies but they can both agree....that paint expert needed a better suit. Tune in now to hear Kateline AND JMank roast that fool to smithereens!
Thu, 07 Mar 2024 - 42min - 28 - 28. The Last Weekend (S32E19)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the December 8th, 2023, episode of Dateline, "The Last Weekend." It's February 10th, 2020, and trumpeter Scott Sessions is found dead in a burn pit in the Colorado mountains. Five days later, another body shows up in another burn pit. Who is to blame and does their nephew cut their hair? Kateline knows this story from a 20/20 episode and don't worry, the pair spend a great deal of time detailing why and how Dateline is so much better than that show and all other shows. Other topics include DJ Tanner, Calls From The Inside, Mannix, musicians who love real hard, Elvis, and Elvis impersonators. They're all here! Plus, and this isn't Kurt Money speaking, but someone on behalf of Kurt Money, that Kurt Money knows that saying "NDA agreement" is like saying "ATM Machine" but he's leaving it in the episode, so like, don't give him guff about it.
Wed, 28 Feb 2024 - 39min - 27 - 27. Open Desert (S32E18)
Kurt Money and Kateline discuss the Thursday shorty Dateline episode, "Open Desert." Britney Ujlaky is found dead in the desert of Nevada and police are stumped by the culprit. Was it a mysterious cowboy named JT? Sad bullies who got whooped by Britney at the rodeo? Or Britney's friend zoned bro Bryce? K$ and Kateline agree on the guilty party, but disagree 100% on whether or not people named JT also drive green trucks. Can Future Kurt save the day and solve the mystery once and for all? Listen to find out!
