This time with Dj & Producer Osccurate from Medellín, Columbia Enjoy It...Kurt Kjergaard BIO Born in the city of Medellín, Colombia, Osccurate has quickly become a highly recognized figure. Having studied music at the University of Fine Arts Medellin and taken courses at prestigious institutions such as Berklee College of Music. His musical career has included participation as a guitarist in significant projects like Madera Jazz, Mabiland, The Virginia Valley, Melov, etc. He has performed on renowned stages such as Estadio el Campín, Festival Estereo Picnic, Baum Park, Kaputt, Videoclub, and has opened for bands and artists including Coldplay, Metronomy, Two Door Cinema Club and The Blaze. As a producer, Osccurate was at the forefront of the hard techno scene in Medellín, with support from prominent figures like Tham, Paula Temple, Roüge, Vendex, etc. In 2023, his project took a significant turn as Osccurate opened up to new possibilities, delving into the production of more commercial projects such as Mabiland and Gero Angel. He collaborated with grammy nominated producer Tezzel. In his personal project, he transitioned from techno to indie dance, marking the beginning of a more melodic and danceable exploration influenced by the sounds of Italo disco and new wave. Although early in this new phase, Osccurate has already gained support from DJs and producers like Pablo Bozzi, Kendal, Infravision, Marcus Christiansen, Brandski, Bizzarro Universe, among others. Osccurate has quickly established himself as a leading figure in Colombian and international indie dance music. He started DJing as a kid (Rave, HipHop and RnB ) in 1995 (Dj Snej) and later (2000-2007) started playing driving techno live acts (Jay Button). It was at this time, JELLL started his own party series in Munich named ‚Kiefercrash‘ in a small off- location at ‚Kunstpark Ost‘. Around 2008 so called ‚real life‘ began to hit hard. Playing and producing music had to stand back a . little. But JELLL never stopped enjoying electro- nic music and finally he found back to entertaining people with music as a Dj around 2017 at that time only on soundcloud first. Enjoy It Kurt Kjergaard BIO Again and again Florian Herzberg – the mastermind behind My Secret Playground – is drawn to his hometown Vienna. A city full of old glory and vanity, a spirit of optimism and standstill in the same way. On his releases the now Berlin-based producer combines these peculiarities in Electro and modern sounding 80s tracks. Rolling aggressive beats are replaced by broad synths and strings. Pounding kick drums paired with nostalgic vocal lines and vocoders make the leap into the 21st century and give My Secret Playgrounds an own contemporary Indie Dance sound. For more than a decade Florian has been based out of Berlin; in the German capital, he has not only found his unique musical voice – but emotional solidity within his greatest passion. 2014 he launched his live music project ‘My Secret Session’, an event where DJs and musicians improvise live together to dance music. Through this session he was able to shape the unique organic sound width of My Secret Playground and also work with the best musicians in town. Since then Florian has been performing internationally as a DJ and with his band, creating a variety of sounds that sets him apart from the rest. His track „Wir Tanzen“ on Rabotat Records, combined with the viral video during Quarantine 2020, followed by his EP „Fears of Tears„, on Melopee Records, pushed My Secret Playground to a wider audience. In addition to maintaining careers in the music industry, and putting on some of the most infamous underground parties Berlin has to offer, these two are still finding time to make waves with their productions and drive live audiences into a frenzy not just in their chosen hometown of Berlin but across all four corners of the world. A wild fusion of new wave, acid, slow techno, EBM and dark disco is what defines the signature Local Suicide sound, and these propulsive grooves have recently been woven into releases with the likes of influential artists such as Rodion, Mijo, Theus Mago and Curses, winning them overwhelming support across the board from the music press and prolific DJs. 2022 marked the next stepping stone on their journey to worldwide cobra wave and technodisco takeover with their debut album "Eros Anikate" on their own label Iptamenos Discos and a series of Remixes 12"s. 2023 holds a lot of promise in store for this dynamic duo with a series of EPs, tracks in compilations and remixes and a busy schedule with Dj gigs as Local Suicide and live shows with their new band project with Kalipo called Dina Summer. She had her musical light bulb moment after hearing Miss Kittin & The Hacker for the first time. Musically I was influenced by synth pop acts like Depeche Mode, Visage, Georgio Moroder, New Order and Kraftwerk. It wasn't long before the first official booking came in 1994 at the “Kling Klang” club in Wilhelmshaven. This was followed by various resident clubs, various raves, parades and festivals, mainly in northern Germany, where I was allowed to play regularly for many years with vinyl and later also digitally. Musically, I would describe myself as techhouse, minimal techno, deep / melodic techno with partly house and bigbeat influences. Hallo Freunde hier kommt ein neuer Teil meiner KK Presents Mix Reihe ... diesmal mit einem großartigen Set von Sensual Delight aus Germany. Viel Spaß Kurt Kjergaard Hello friends here comes a new part of my KK Presents Mix series... this time with a great set by Sensual Delight from Germany. Enjoy It Kurt Kjergaard BIO Sensual Delight ist geprägt von Sinnesfreude, [nicht die Bedeutung der „sexuellen Sinnesfreude“, sondern die „musikalische Sinnesfreude“] weil er mit seinen vorantreibenden basslastigen Deep-Melodic-House Elementen aufgemischt mit viel melancholischen-melodischen Leads für eine rührselige, herzige und seelenvolle Stimmung sorgt. Seine Sets waren zudem immer authentisch, denn er legte 15 Jahren ausschließlich mit Vinyl auf. Das erste Mal stand er schon mit 15 Jahren im heimischen Dachboden hinter den Decks und hat sich von der Pike auf, alles selber beigebracht. Angefangen mit Techno und dann später Minimal, kannte er sich mit Dj-Künstlern und dem Feingefühl für Turntables schon früh aus und baute sich damit sein musikalisches Fundament auf. So langsam kam er dann in den Melodic-Techno und Melodic-Tech-House Bereich und seit ungefähr 8-9 Jahren legt er nur noch emotionales und einfühlsames Deep-Melodic-House auf. Jedoch seit 8-9 Jahren etwa hat er den Enthusiasmus einer neuen Technologie für das digitale Mixing gefunden und zwar mit dem populären Traktor Kontrol S4. Nun stehen ihm dadurch das vollständige Spektrum der Künstler und deren Labels zur Verfügung, denn bei Vinyl ist dies ziemlich mühselig. Demgegenüber bestehen ihn neue Möglichkeiten der Trackauslese und es scheint ihm keine Grenzen im Workflow bei der Kreativität und Entfaltung zu existieren. Seit ungefähr 2 Jahren hat er sich jedoch noch eine nicht unwichtige Technologie angeeignet, nämlich mit professionellen Dj-Playern (sprich die bekannten CDJ’s) zu mixen. Diese elementare Technik wollte er sich nicht entgehen lassen, um so wie in Clubs mixen zu können. Nun kann er in der Auslese mit noch mehr ‚Liebe zur Melancholie’ in seiner Funktionslust oder noch verständlicher in seinem Schaffens- bzw. Tätigkeitsrausch (Flow), euch in seinen Set’s zur hypnotischen oder ekstatischen Trance verbannen, um dein Herz zu gewinnen und dir parallel tanzbare bzw. clubtaugliche Rhythmen zu präsentieren. Dementsprechend denkt er mit dieser Richtung sein wahren Kern der Seele in der Musik entdeckt zu haben. Nach dieser Percussion ist er nun mit ganzem Herzblut und mit viel Liebe im Detail dabei, ständig neue Set’s und Podcast’s zu kreieren und sie via Internet der Öffentlichkeit zu präsentieren. Denn nichts auf der Welt macht ihn glücklicher als eure Herzen zu erreichen und euch mit seinen Klängen einen Beat um die Ohren zu werfen der euer Tanzbein mehr als nach vorne schwingt. Außerdem sollte man bei ihm erwähnt haben, dass er sein ganzer Job als Dj, welches er mit Herz und Seele erfüllt, nur aus reinem Gefühl für die eigene Ehre macht. Mixes such as the Politics Of Dancing released in 2001 by the great Paul van Dyk left an indelible mark on him. Though a native of Chicago, Parker moved to France in 2009 and soon was introduced to the world of House Music, specifically Deep House. He loved discovering a whole new style of electronic music and a new set of extremely talented DJs. The French people were extremely kind and mentored him in how to properly beat-match and craft sets both on CDJs and vinyl. He mixed live at a few local bars and was instantly hooked. Upon his return to the states, he discovered the roots of House Music in his hometown of Chicago frequenting legendary clubs such as the late Vision, Spybar, Sound bar, and Smartbar. He then discovered a DJ that would change his life, the mighty Guy J. This is when he started his journey in the world of Progressive House music. The rest is history! Parker enjoys djing locally and plans to release his first production this year! He also releases at least one two-hour set a month and enjoys mixing live on Twitch. Needing a fresh start, he decided to begin everything from scratch. Shedding artist names, he decided to release music under his birth name, to stress the personal nature of his new tracks. Being a classically trained composer and multi-instrumentalist, he made it his goal to fuse orchestral and electronic music together, no matter the genre. Kurt kjergaard Hello friends I am very happy to present you a new episode of my KK PRESENTS series today... for this episode I invited Dj & Producer Antonio Carassi aka Dj Morph from Italy.... look forward to a very cool set from him... Enjoy It... Kurt kjergaard INFO Born in the South of Italy at the end of the 70s, DJ Morph began to listen good music when was a child. Kraftwerk, To Rococo rot, Depeche Mode, A-ha, Mike Oldfield and Franco Battiato, artists not so easy for a little child. In the last 15 years, Morph has released many productions under various aliases, single EPs and albums, also with some collectives like the South Conspiracy. His productions were wandering in the electronic music atmospheres, between minimal, techno and tech house music. He’s been also a remixer for many artists like the italians Sud Sound System and more guys all around the world. In his career, DJ Morph has played in many gigs in Europe (specially in Italy) but also in Japan for a tour in the first decade of the 2000s. Moreover, he collaborated with some Radio Stations and digital projects like, for example, Samurai FM in Japan, where he was the art director of his own program for the japanese radio, where he hosted many guys from all the world. After some healthy problems in the last 5 years, in 2022 Morph is back to make music and to his DJ career, with great enthusiasm. His music today is a mix of Deep House, Melodic and Afro sounds and he’s working to the first album and first singles under the name “DJ Morph”.
