It definitely felt like two points dropped, despite the Reds actually scoring from a corner, and fighting back from conceding a poor goal to take the lead. A draw wasn't the result that we wanted, but was enough to pull the Reds out of the relegation zone on goal difference. It could have been so much worse as a tepid first half performance drew the ire of the fans, but the introduction of Gio Reyna on 60 minutes brought instant dividends, as the young American fed Morgan Gibbs-White, who in turn played it into the box where Chris Wood's clever header drew Forest level. For the second time in a few days, a promising display by the Reds but a controversial late winner - but the way that this one went in makes Wednesday's goal look just fine. It ended up honours even in a game that was last on Match of the Day, but Forest will be a bit disappointed not to have taken all three points after creating the better chances. Harry Toffolo had an effort from distance, before Morgan Gibbs-White hit the post, and Murillo almost scored a memorable goal with a mazy dribble and shot that was saved by the keeper. The headlines will show that ten man Forest came back to rescue a point, but really the Reds were the better team in the first thirty minutes and should have capitalised. As it was, after Moussa Niakhate's red card, the Bees took the lead with a soft goal - both the Forest defence and Matt Turner should have done better. After ten minutes it looked like this was going the way of last season's match at the Etihad; in fact when Forest conceded the first goal they hadn't even managed to string two passes together and barely had 10% possession. However, they did manage to regroup a bit to keep the score down, and the second half was a different proposition after Rodri's red card. A disappointing result at the City Ground, as an attacking looking Reds line-up failed to capitalise, before Burnley took the lead through some neat play down the left presented Zeki Amdouni with his second goal against Forest in just a few weeks. A fabulous result for Steve Cooper's Reds, as substitute Antony Elanga calmly slotted home on the break after good work by Mangala, Yates and Awoniyi to win the ball and set the winger free. Forest didn't have much possession, but in truth Matt Turner didn't have that much to do, although the Reds will be grateful for Nicholas Jackson's glaring miss. Forest took an early lead at Elland Road but after that never really laid a glove on a resurgent Leeds side. A stoppage-time penalty from Alexander Isak saw the Reds fall to their first home defeat since October, and record consecutive Premier League defeats. Another bad away day for the Reds, who were lucky that VAR ruled in their favour after just three minutes, but still fell to another thrashing, this time at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur. It was a big night for Forest - not quite must-win, but certainly must-not-lose against bottom of the table Southampton.
