In our country here in North America, we are of course a democracy led by an elected President. So it is a bit hard to imagine life in a monarchy. If I run into some kind of a problem I can’t solve on my own, I’ll need God’s help… Lord knows I can’t call on God…I mean, look at me, do I look religious? So picture this, you are in the left turn lane of a busy intersection. The cars in front of you begin to move but the arrow turns red just as you pull up to the intersection. “Transgender is an umbrella term for persons whose gender identity, gender expression or behavior does not conform to that typically associated with the sex to which they were assigned at birth” - American Psychological Association. At the heart of transgender ideology is the belief that sex and gender are separate things: They believe that a person’s sex is determined by biology, but gender is determined by society. How do you respond when you come face to face with the reality that you messed up. Maybe you blame everyone else around you or the circumstances. Maybe you try and hide the mistake and attempt to go on as if nothing ever happened. We can try to hide, we can try to run, we can try to shift blame, but none of those are solutions that lead to peace and restoration. This is the final message in the series  “REPLY ALL”, where we have been looking at the difficult relationships of King David. Pastor Steve walks us through 2 Samuel 11 and 12, where King David makes one of the worst decisions of his life. We learn about the consequences of sin and the heart of a loving God that is always ready to restore when we are ready to repent. This special Mother’s Day message cuts right to the heart of those parents who are facing difficulties with their children.
