On this week's episode we are speaking to Dr. Lucy Hall, lecturer at the University of Amsterdam. As her research focuses on the connection between gender, violence and protection, we talk to her about the role that gender plays in conflict situations and some of the misconceptions that go along with this. Moreover, we touch on the effect that ISIS terrorism has had specifically on women, how they recover from conflict and what particular needs of women have to be considered in post- conlflict reconstruction. This also takes into account international efforts and policies in post-conflict work.

This episode is the second part of a two part series. In this episode we are speaking with the Dutch war crimes unit(TIM) and the Dutch national public prosecutors office on prosecution and investigation of Dutch ISIS members.
