It's finals time and Andrew Moore, Luke Lewis and Michael Carayannis are locked in for a bumper show. At the pointy end of the NRL season every incident can an amplified effect and that's the way it looks with the injury to Roosters' half back Sam Walker. He's facing surgery on his ankle that's likely to rule him out for the rest of the season and Luke Lewis told Andrew Moore and Matthew Elliott in 6 Again that it rules the Roosters out of winning the Premiership. The team also spoke to Warriors CEO Cameron George who talked about growing the game in New Zealand and about the prospect of hosting finals matches at Mt Smart. In an ominous sign for the rest of the NRL Penrith showed a bit of their best gritty finals form to beat the Bulldogs in round 26. Back rower and top man Scott Sorensen told Andrew Moore, Luke Lewis and Michael Carayannis he felt a lift in intensity at training during the week. Plus there was a "big" MC's Hammertime (even if Grimesy took the wind out of Michael's sails), and Manly points scoring machine Reuben Garrick chatted about his final match at Brookvale Oval in what he admitted has been a strange season. There's also a good debate about whether the NRL should follow the AFL in adopting a wildcard round.

There will be 2 emotional games left in this NRL season for South Sydney with Jai Arrow set to notch up his 99th & 100th appearances for the club. The Rabbitohs approached the NRL for special permission to name the Motor Neurone stricken player so he could reach his milestone. Souths CEO Blake Solly told Quentin Hull and Billy Moore that the game has pulled together to honour the popular figure and make this happen. Plus Billy and Q dissect why last season's Grand Finalists - Brisbane and Melbourne - are meeting in a dead rubber match with a potential rule change being trialled in it.

With Brisbane captain Adam Reynolds announcing his retirement we talk about a long list of players calling it a day at the end of 2026.   Kevin Walters joins the show to chat about his decision to quit as Kangaroos coach to take up a post with St Helens in the English Super League.   Sydney Roosters star Connor Watson is in studio to discuss the signing of Joey Manu at the PNG Chiefs, his team’s shock loss to Wests Tigers, and becoming a dad in 2027.

Canterbury prop Max King's 6th career try typified his team's performance in the round 25 win over St George Illawarra. He told Andrew Moore, Luke Lewis and Matthew Elliott that it was their ability to save tries being scored that pleased him most. While he's not a regular scorer of the 4 points he revealed that his Dad David had always led him to believe he was far more prolific than he actually was in his playing days. It's been a season to forget for the Broncos in their Premiership title defence but they showed plenty of fight in their round 25 win in Canberra. Hooker Billy Walters missed most of the season and has been frustrated watching on while his team struggled. He told Andrew Moore, Luke Lewis and Michael Carayannis that he accepts the stick the team has copped as part and parcel of playing for Brisbane. The team also chatted about the prospects for the Dolphins who are currently Queensland best hope of holding on to the NRL title. One of the best stories of this NRL season has been the return of Matt Dufty to the competition. He also explained how Cody Walker made him take a late conversion that nobody else wanted to take! South Sydney's man for all seasons Jye Gray had another high achieving game aa his team held on to beat Parramatta. He ran a game high 236 metres on the wing and crossed the line for a try in the stereo-typical game of 2 halves. In a jam packed NRL Monday with Andrew Moore, we dissect both State of Origin teams for game two with Ruan Sims and Michael Carayannis.   Penrith centre Paul Alamoti joins the show after the Panthers destroyed Wests Tigers 68-nil.   Ru and MC discuss a stinker of a weekend for the bunker, and we also find out that we’re very popular in sheds.

It was a miraculous moment of brilliance from Keano Kini to help the Gold Coast win the Queensland Derby but the gun full back reckons it's a miracle he's even playing. He explained how close he came to being paralysed last year and also told Andrew Moore and the team how the win over the Broncos was reward for all the hard work they've been putting in. Moorey also puts Presidential aspirant Luke Lewis and soothsayer John Gibbs to the Test in 6 Again. The First Thought is "Queenslander" and there's a chance to get to know South Sydney's Euan Aitken. After a couple of below par performance the Roosters bounced back with a big Round 14 win in Canberra over the Raiders. After starting a hooker Connor Watson told Andrew Moore, Luke Lewis, Ruan Sims and Michael Carayannis that they've been their own worst enemies in the games they've lost. He also talked about his relief at getting his future sorted and his excitement looking forward to his eventual home with the PNG Chiefs. Cronulla CEO Dino Mezzatesta dropped in to dis-spell talk of the club vacating Shark Park and Ryan Hoffman talked about whether he thought the Storm had properly turned the corner after a 4th win in 5 games. Their man for all seasons Jock Madden chatted to NRL Sunday to explain how there were treating the match as a chance to re-set and go again. He also addressed the controversial charge down call that denied the Bulldogs a try against them. Chris Mortimer chatted about NSW 1st ever Origin clean sweep and on the subject of Origin it's time for a re-working of the Denis Carnahan classic That's in Queensland.

On the build up to the Men's State of Origin it was great to jump inside both camps. Maroons debutant Jojo Fifita wasn't expecting to made the squad - so much so that when Queensland coach Billy Slate called he thought it could have been a scam! Andrew Moore spoke to Dolphins prop Tom Flegler about his fairytale return from a shoulder injury that had sidelined him for almost two years, but has seen him get the call from Billy Slater welcoming him back to Queensland's Origin side.

Manly stalwart Reuben Garrick is loving life under Kieran Foran and he reckons they've rediscovered their team identity. He chatted to Glen Lauder and Alan Tongue about the improved defence, winning without Tom Trbojevic and knowing it's his final year at the club. He also talked about keeping fans in mind when negotiating the new broadcast deal, an assistance package for the Perth Bears and why he doesn't want to see officials copping stick from coaches. Plus Kevin Walters joined the team to talk about a ringing endorsement from his players to keep his job as the Kangaroos coach, Michael Carayannis - not selected for Origin duty - joined for Hammertime and there's some special birthday wishes for John Gibbs.

Controversy is never far away in the NRL and Friday night threw up a couple of interesting calls. Luke Lewis reckons Rooster Rob Toia's 2nd try against the Titans was 1000% not a try as he looked to have lost it over the line. Lewey chatted about that with Andrew Moore and Michael Carayannis and the bizarre end to the game in Townsville where the Eels won with a 3 point field goal. Plus you can hear some of what Criag Bellamy had to say as he addressed the media for the 1st time since news of his neurodegenerative disorder was made public. And Parramatta Young gun Tallyn Da Silva chatted about this win over the Cowboys and how he's enjoying more minutes on the field.

On the eve of the 2026 Magic Round there's talk that from 2027 the format of the weekend might have to get a tweak. With the Perth Bears joining the party there'll be an extra NRL match to fit in (and no team sitting out) so what does that mean for the Women's Origin match which has kicked the weekend off on the Thursday? Quentin Hull, Billy Moore and Zane Bojack reckon that match should stay. Q and Billy also discussed the introduction of health screenings for former players and were joined by the Raiders powerful centre Matt Timoko. The Green Machine man reckons the uptick in their form is down to one thing - keeping it simple.
