〖解釋〗如果是文字的訊息聊天就可以用 dry texter，面對面的聊天可以用 dry talker，意思就是『超無聊，不給反應的人』。

There’s just no vibe. / We don’t vibe 拼單字: the mood of a place, situation, person
〖解釋〗這個可以用來說你跟一個人『頻率不對、聊不來』。

【補充學習】
覺得對方很難聊，你想跟朋友抱怨的時候可以說：

D：I can't believe you didn't know! 這句話是最簡單的用法，你也可以說：

living under a rock：活在石頭底下，形容資訊脫節。get with the program： 跟上時代。out of touch ：跟現實脫節，比較偏負面。out(in) of the loopMedia-savvy拼單字：savvy表示常識、能力，所以Media-savvy就是媒體通，用來形容對媒體資訊很熟悉的人。in the know：消息靈通、掌握內幕消息的人。plugged in拼單字：資訊靈通更新，跟上潮流的。with it：跟得上潮流、懂時代（常形容年紀稍長但不落伍的人）。

「駕照雞腿換的」用來形容一個人的開車技術很差、或是根本不會開車。英文也有類似的用法，雖然不是雞腿，而是 cereal box （麥片盒）。

如果想要鼓勵對方、稱讚對方，還有以下幾個片語可以這樣說：

You nailed it! / Nailed it! / killed it!：to do something successfully，代表表現很棒！做得很讚！ Way to go!：中文可以翻譯為「很好！」「做得好！」。Attaboy／Attagirl：表示稱讚、激賞，很棒！做得好。

除了鼓勵之外，你可能也想安慰對方不要想太多，這時候我們可以用哪些片語？

You're on the right track.：你朝著正確的方向前進，鼓勵對方繼續下去就能成功！No sweat! ：別擔心、別緊張。Keep your chin up. ：不要氣餒。

You’re such a savage（名詞）!

Savage 在年輕族群中用來形容某人非常犀利或直白，常帶有幽默的感覺，適合用來讚嘆別人吐槽得很到位。also: Brutal（形容詞）、比較像是行為上的野蠻

You’re so good at roasting people!

直接表達對方很擅長用幽默挖苦的方式吐槽。 roast (v.) 烤、烘；批評；吐槽（來自於現場吐槽喜劇的用法） 用來描述以幽默的方式對某人開玩笑，通常帶有些許挖苦的意味，但不一定是惡意的。

tease (v.) 表示輕鬆友善的開玩笑或調侃，適用於比較溫和的情況mock (v.) 偏向模仿或取笑，語氣可能不如「tease」那麼友善throw shade 口語化的表達，指的是以含蓄或不明顯的方式批評或挖苦他人（暗箭？）

📎 這個球就像變了心的女朋友回不來了 This ball is long gone, just like the ex-girlfriend who will never return.

long gone：這裡表示球「早已消失」或「徹底離開」。

結構：This ball is long gone ****主語 + be 動詞 + 形容詞。 用於描述從過去開始的狀態，至今仍持續有效或真實。
例句：The chance is long gone. (機會早就沒了。)

similar: “That ship has sailed.” 代表回不去了

一壘安打：one- base hit (single)二壘安打：two- base hit (double)三壘安打：three- base hit (triple) 安打區分方式為，該球被擊出後可讓打者上到第幾壘。

Base：也就是壘包的意思，可以縮寫簡稱為1B／2B／3B get to first base：跨出成功的第一步的意思，或是某件事、某個計畫有個初步的進展。（談戀愛也可以使用，例如上了一壘等等）
例句：You won’t get to first base with boss if you propose something like that.若你提出這樣的專案給老闆，是絕對不會有任何進展的。

陽春全壘打（又稱陽春砲）指壘上無人的全壘打，可得一分solo home run 大滿貫全壘打（壘上滿人）grand slam 再見全壘打，由該隊打者擊出的反敗為勝且結束比賽的全壘打，為九局下半後攻球隊出現：walk off home run完封 ：Shutout，通常記為SHO n.關在外面；（運動）不使敵隊得分的行動，或受此對待的球隊

分開念混淆：shut out vt.把…關在外面; 擋住；擺脫; 克制 no-hit game 或 no-hitter，口語稱為 no-no，棒球術語，指在九局中不讓對方打者上到一壘的完勝比賽，是比完封更難的等級。
knock it out of the park.大獲全勝 如果使用在表演或是工作（專案），代表你做得很棒！

「You're a lot of fun!」來表示「某人是個有趣的人；讓人喜歡與之相處的人」
這裡的「fun」當作名詞，表示快樂；樂趣；有趣的人。比較是兩者之間，在稱呼對方時使用，或是You're so much fun!
They’re great fun! 這是另一種表達方式，強調與此人相處的樂趣。這個比較像有第三人時，形容某位的方式。

容易混淆：you’re so funny. "funny" 常用來形容某人滑稽、有趣、或做了讓人發笑的事情，這個字常帶有一點「負面」的意思，例如當你說He is very funny.，除了可能說他讓人覺得「好笑」，也可能含有「可笑」之意。

enthusiastic(adj.)充滿樂趣 活潑的人 high on life：每天很high的生活態度，像babii一樣。

animated：情緒比較活潑 比較栩栩如生的。

boring / lame：因為外在的人、事、物而令人感到無趣的、單調的、乏味的／bored：產生於人的自我情緒。

例句：He is a boring person.（他是個令人到無趣的人）I'm very bored. 是「我覺得很無聊」。
容易混淆：I'm very boring. 不是「我很無聊」，而是「我令人感到很無趣」，本來是要表達自己的無聊情緒，結果反而罵到自己！

💡 這樣一個人多少錢？

How much is it per person?How much for each person?How much do we each pay?

這句可能一開始聽起來會覺得好像哪裡怪怪的，但其實他的文法是正確的喔！
這裡的 each 放在主詞後面：each 修飾主詞 we，意思指『我們每一個人』，強調『每一位成員個別的行為』而不是整體。
在英文裡面，each 可以放在代名詞之後（we, they …etc)，用來表示『每個人』。兩個人以上的使用。

therapeutic 是therapy (n.治療) 的形容詞，意思是「有療效的、療癒的」。

類似「療癒」「撫慰人心」的其他說法 : comforting a. 撫慰的 / soothing a.舒緩的 / healing a.治癒的 / calming a.鎮靜的

💡 Talk is cheap. / Easier said than done. 說得容易做得難
“Talk is cheap.” It means that it’s easy to say something, but actually doing it is much harder.
Talk is cheap 意為「開空頭支票；隨便說說而已」。這個慣用語於 1800 年代開始使用至今，但確切起源不得而知。
1800 年代流行的成語中有幾個是以 talk is cheap 作開頭，
如 talk is cheap but it takes money to buy a farm、talk is cheap but it takes money to buy whiskey、talk is cheap until you hire a lawyer 等等。

💡「我真的臭手」英文怎麼說？
Luck isn't on my side.
I have bad luck. （這是比較直白的表達，說明你的運氣不好。）
I have a cursed hand(文學） / a losing hand (常見：撲克牌）.
（這個表達稍微誇張一些，特別適合用在賭博或需要運氣的遊戲中，暗示你的手氣總是很差。）
